Definitely takes 2 people to do unless you have something to support it in a couple areas. Otherwise, pleased with product and etrailer.com.
The installation was very easy. Fit was perfect for my vehicle.
Excellent hitch with easy mounting, and no drilling, on my 2021 Promaster, 159”WB (not extended). The box that the hitch can in was badly damaged, and so was the hitch itself. One side flange was bent in about 3/8” and made it impossible to mount without applying clamps to bring it back inline. etrailer should install a wood brace between the flanges to aid in shipping.
Installed by myself in about 45mins after watching the instruction videos. Biggest issue was getting the spare tire out. After figuring out how to get the first bolt + plate fished into the truck frame the rest were easy. Had to find some English sockets.
I picked up a Curt Class III Ball Mount with 2" Ball & Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Connector to complete the setup.
Overall a solid hitch. MUCH better than [the Curt hitch]
Watch the install video! It has a couple of key pro tips. The only gripe I have is that the hole in the hitch for the spare tire lowering device did not line up with the lifter/lowering screw. See pic. I had to jam the tool into the hole and tap it in with a mallet to get the tire back up. Would've given 4 stars if it weren't for this issue.

Did not fit correctly but made work for now. Spacing at rear support was off by 3/8 inch so added spacer. The hole to accept the tool for spare tire did not line up with vans frame hole so changing spare on the side of rode with be problematic.
The worst. Embarrassingly bad welds throughout. Was not able to install due to incredibly poor fit up. Note 1/2-in gap between plate and fixing point on body. Cinching up these bolts would no doubt have caused damage to vehicle chassis. Returning for refund.

The installation of this hitch is going to be more complex then some. It is normal to have the half inch gap between the plate the frame until the bolts are torqued down. We have a video on a 2019 Ram 2500 Promaster where you can see starting at time stamp 9:12 how the plate appears.
Looks great got here super fast watch the video which was labeled pro installation takes 20 minutes, no problem.
Hitch arrived 2 days after placing order, UPS battered the box but everything was ok.
Solo install took about 11/2 hrs including a coffee break and searching for a different wrench, Having help would definatly make install easier but not required.
Only issue I ran into was getting a torque wrench between the rear bumper and the hitch.

Still working as expected which is great.
the installation went fairly smoothly, except that the instructions were incorrect. bolts 4 and 8 should be swapped. the long 7/16 bolt is the only bolt long enough to hold the corners. i actually had to remove everything and swap the bolts and that was a pain. if they were labeled correctly it would have been super easy.
very solid and well made. much better mounting than the smaller hitch.
i did not give this 5 stars yet... because i have yet to carry anything.

I have had no problems with my purchases. I bought a wiring harness and a trailer hitch. Both have worked out well. The hitch is a classA receiver hitch. It fit as expected and the wiring has kept the lights working right.
Works great on my Ram 1500 Promaster, we use it to tow a 5,000lb pizza oven and we had no issues
Excellent install easy and directions are straight forward. Careful you don't insert carriage bolts with holiding spring in too deep-one went arop the leaf perch housing and took a while to get it back. Wiring kit and online video were right on. To install used reciever extender and c clamped to floor jack with the cup removed- no hassle and no struggling to position after this.
I’m giving 3 stars because this hitch is really nice, the instructional video was helpful. I would have had it fully installed in an hour BUT the hardware kit had 3) 1/4 blocks (supposed to have 2), 1) 5/8 block (supposed to have 2) and only 1 5/8 nut and washer. I had to make 2 trips to the hardware store and spend time modifying a block. That was very disappointing and a waste of time. Quality Control the hardware supply and this is a 5 Star piece.
Came quick and had good instructions. No problems.
Just installed this hitch on My RAM Promaster 1500 cargo van. Fit up was perfect. Did it by myself laying under the van, using jack stands to hold the hitch up as I bolted it up. This hitch is heavy duty and well made.
Product: Well designed, and heavy duty. Had an issue with accessing the spare tire lowering mechanism and had to shim the right side down with a couple of extra washers (2018 Ram Promaster).
Etrailer: Great customer service. When I went back to the product page to look for tech docs, I noticed that the price had gone down since my order. I contacted them and they lived up to their low price guarantee!
I was in a bind for time after a second failed [on-line retailer] attempt to deliver one of these with the hardware. I called etrailers and Ashley gave me the confidence I needed that it would arrive intact and ship that day. It showed up 3 days later much to my surprise, and was only $2 more than from the [on-line retailer]. It shipped in a big box and all parts were inside and zero scratches. The first 2 I got from [on-line retailer] were scratched and dinged all over and missing all hardware, don't waste your time with them. Buy from etrailers, professionals for sure.
Very happy with this hitch. Easy install if you are adept at working with hand tools, even easier than the instructions would lead you to think. I was also able to get it installed without removing the spare.
Was amazed at how quickly the receiver arrived. 2 days ahead of the estimated arrival! Instructions are very complete and hitch looks great.
Will recommend you to everyone!

I installed the hitch without a hitch.
The only problem was getting it in place by myself. Torqued everything down to specks. Looks great.
