Draw-Tite Tested Tough

Draw-Tite Tested Tough

Draw-Tite's Tested Tough program provides testing standards far superior to those outlined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the go-to source for engineering professionals.

Each Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver undergoes extensive fatigue testing and static testing with the ball mount that is either supplied or recommended for use with that particular hitch, thus ensuring results that are applicable to real life use. Fatigue testing is also conducted on hitches rated for use with weight-distribution systems.

In addition, Draw-Tite performs static testing on a simulated automobile, as opposed to the rigid fixture used for SAE testing, resulting in a more true-to-life scenario. Technical Support

I am very happy with this trailer hitch. It fit perfectly and all needed parts were included. It was fairly easy to install since it was made to fit my truck like an OEM product would do.

My Draw Tite Trailer hitch still works just like the first day I put it on.
Michael - 03/02/2022

Good hitch- good price. Easy install.
customer service in finding a replacement item when my initial brand/choice was not available.

Fair prices. Free shipping that is reasonably fast considering the distance, weight and size. Very easy to install. What took the longest during install, was finding a 7/8” open end wrench, that the directions said was needed, but after searching through tool boxes and eventually finding this wrench, I found that all I needed was two 3/4” wrenches. I like this hitch because you don’t see much of it sticking out from the truck and that is why I purchased this model.

A year later and I’m still happy. It does everything it should.

Ford F-150

Item arrived a day early, I installed right away and it came out perfect! It so easy to install for one reason, it’s was made and designed exactly for the make/model of my Ford F-150 pick up. Thank you, etrailer!

2009 F150 stx class III hitch
price, fit good, took 25 minutes, didn’t remove the spare tire.

2011 Ford F-150

Bought a 2011 Ford F150 with no trailer tow package. I decided to add the trailer hitch myself. I started searching on Etrailer and ended up buying the Draw-Tite hitch. The kit came with instructions and all included parts. I installed it by myself in about 35 minutes. It looks great and already pulled my trailer with it without any problems. Great Product.

They supplied a good product that was easy to install. Good quality unit

The hitch is a quality product, I use it almost daily with no issues.
Paul C - 05/01/2022

Easy to install. Visually appealing, doesn't hang real low or protrude past the rear bumper. Don't look gaudy like some other hitches.
Performed with out any issues. I used it pulling a trailer every weekend for 5 months straight without any problems.
Recently I checked to make sure that none of the mounting bolts had loosened or that any of the metal had bent or cracked and found no probles.
Very satisfied with the hitch.

Still very satisfied. No issues. Working fine.

Ford F-150

Thank you for your speedy delivery. My hitch came yesterday and I put it on by myself in less than one hour. I used a floor jack to hold it in place. I did not remove the spare.

2010 Ford F-150

Excellent customer service. Very quick on shipping. Easy to install as stated online when I ordered it. It took me 20 minutes from start to finish. I can't wait to tow my trailer now without using the bumper hitch. It will be so much nicer. I will definately use Etrailer again next time I need something for my truck. Thanks to everyone who took part in my order. Mel R.

p.s. pics didn't turn out so good.

Fit perfect and bolted right up. Did not take but 30 minutes and I was taking my time. Will buy again from them again!

2011 Ford F-150

Trailer hitch receiver worked out very well. Pulled my trailer without any problem. Unfortunately have now gotten rid of my truck.

2011 Ford F-150

I am very pleased with my new hitch. My order was promptly shipped by ground in three days. My wife and I installed the hitch in twenty minutes following the directions supplied. The hitch fit my 2011 Ford F-150 like a factory hitch. I have attached some pictures of my hitch.

This a great company to do bussiness with. Receiver hitch was just as they said good product and easy to install. Item had to be back ordered but they kept in contact as to where we stood on shipment.
Company one of best I have ever dealt with. Will for sure buy from again. Way t go guy's.

Nothing has changed from review i had written. Hitch is working out fine.

2014 Ford F-150

The Draw Tite Trailer Hitch is exactly what I needed. It's heavy-duty construction and easy installation made for an easy selection.

I liked the ease of installation and that everything, except the receiver is concealed behind the bumper. I was satisfied with the price, delivery time and shopping experience as well.

2014 Ford F-150

Just towed 6300 lbs with it last week, it is still just as strong as the day I installed it..
..Thanks etrailer

2013 Ford F-150

2012 Ford F-150

I am a returning Customer, my last visit was a draw Hitch for my Brother's Chevy Truck, He has just traded up to an F-150 that was also in need of a Draw Hitch, and since we did the last one with Help from your Excellent How-To Videos, why change a good thing. It hasn't been installed as yet, but it soon will be. Thank You for such an Easy sight to use, and complete line of about anything I could ask for, Plus Help with any questions we might have. Good Job!!! Roy E. Constant.

Item arrived faster than expected, and was easily installed. I will be using etrailer again in the future.

2013 Ford F-150

Received my Draw Tite Trailer hitch one day before the expected delivery date. I love how tracking of shipping was provided to me daily. Trailer hitch looks terrific and I expect to install this week end if weather permits.

The only draw back I didn't like was that the free shipping on orders over $99 made me think that I only had that much time left showing on the screen. What I didn't know was that the clock start all over again each day that I have been checking it.

I installed trailer hitch in approximatelu 30 minutes. I really like the way it is hidden under the bumper. Everything worked out just perfect. Extremely satisfied with everything

  • What is the Best Class III Hitch for the 2011 Ford F-150
Without a doubt, for the 2011 Ford F-150, I would recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Max-Frame Trailer Hitch, # 75691, over the other hitches designed for this truck. For less than 20 dollars more than the competitors hitches, the # 75691 hitch has more towing capacity if used with weight distribution, has a curved cross tube for a better appearance under the rear bumper, and has a tab welded to the cross tube to accept brackets for trailer wiring harnesses. All of the hitches designed...

This hitch fits a 2009 - 2014 Ford F-150 without factory hitch and a 2010 - 2014 Ford F-150 Raptor without factory hitch. • How to Determine Max Trailer Weight for Towing with a 2014 Ford F-150
Sometimes the charts in the owner's manuals are confusing and do more harm than good. The best way to calculate the max trailer weight that your 2014 Ford F-150 can handle is by taking the gross combined weight rating (GCWR) found on your door and then subtract the vehicle curb weight along with any additional weight such as aftermarket hitches, people, luggage, and payload. The result will be the max amount of weight that you can tow with your F-150.

When installed on a 2010 Ford F150, the Draw-Tite # 75691 would be partically concealed behind the bumper. The receiver tube is the main portion that'll be visible, along with the lower portion of the hitch crossbar. • Does Use of Weight Distribution System Increase Trailer Towing Capacity
Some trailer hitches will have higher tongue weight (TW) and towing capacities when used with a weight distribution/sway control (WD/SC) system like the Pro Series # 49570. As an example, the Draw-Tite Class III hitch # 75691 we offer for your truck is rated for 600-lbs of TW and 6K trailer weight without a WD/SC system, but those ratings double to 1200-lbs and 12,000-lbs when a system is used. • Would Trailer Hitch from 2003 Ford F-150 Fit 2011 Ford F-150
A trailer hitch from a 2003 Ford F-150 would not fit a 2011 F-150 due to generation changes so you'd need to go with a hitch like the Draw Tite part # 75691 which we had the chance to install on a 2011 F-150 just like yours.

  • Could Draw Tite Hitch # 75691 Fit 2010 Ford F-150 with Dual Exhaust
You'll have to compare the exhaust setup you installed on your 2010 Ford F-150 to the picture I attached to see if your aftermarket exhaust will fit with the Draw Tite # 75691. Our hitches like this have only be tested on vehicles that have factory exhaust so we don't can't say for certain if they will fit with aftermarket setups. Since this hitch is a bit narrower than most I could see it fitting though.

For the 3.7L engine, the max towing capacity number I see is 6700 lbs for a regular cab 4x2. For the 3.5L, 11300 is the highest rating I see. So, if you won't tow much over 5000 lbs, the Draw-Tite class III, part # 75691 would be a fine choice.
