Draw-Tite Tested Tough

Draw-Tite Tested Tough

Draw-Tite's Tested Tough program provides testing standards far superior to those outlined by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the go-to source for engineering professionals.

Each Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver undergoes extensive fatigue testing and static testing with the ball mount that is either supplied or recommended for use with that particular hitch, thus ensuring results that are applicable to real life use. Fatigue testing is also conducted on hitches rated for use with weight-distribution systems.

In addition, Draw-Tite performs static testing on a simulated automobile, as opposed to the rigid fixture used for SAE testing, resulting in a more true-to-life scenario. Technical Support

Fair prices. Free shipping that is reasonably fast considering the distance, weight and size. Very easy to install. What took the longest during install, was finding a 7/8” open end wrench, that the directions said was needed, but after searching through tool boxes and eventually finding this wrench, I found that all I needed was two 3/4” wrenches. I like this hitch because you don’t see much of it sticking out from the truck and that is why I purchased this model.

A year later and I’m still happy. It does everything it should.

2011 Ford F-150

Trailer hitch got here when promised. Very easy to install with a helper. Took maybe 20 minutes total. Thanks.

Charles G.

Trailer hitch receiver worked out very well. Pulled my trailer without any problem. Unfortunately have now gotten rid of my truck.

2011 Ford F-150

Bought a 2011 Ford F150 with no trailer tow package. I decided to add the trailer hitch myself. I started searching on Etrailer and ended up buying the Draw-Tite hitch. The kit came with instructions and all included parts. I installed it by myself in about 35 minutes. It looks great and already pulled my trailer with it without any problems. Great Product.

2010 Ford F-150

Excellent customer service. Very quick on shipping. Easy to install as stated online when I ordered it. It took me 20 minutes from start to finish. I can't wait to tow my trailer now without using the bumper hitch. It will be so much nicer. I will definately use Etrailer again next time I need something for my truck. Thanks to everyone who took part in my order. Mel R.

p.s. pics didn't turn out so good.

2011 Ford F-150

I am very pleased with my new hitch. My order was promptly shipped by ground in three days. My wife and I installed the hitch in twenty minutes following the directions supplied. The hitch fit my 2011 Ford F-150 like a factory hitch. I have attached some pictures of my hitch.

2009 Ford F-150

Very please with etrailer and there product, received trailer hitch on time and exactly the way it would fit on my Ford F 150, I live in Houston and couldn't find the Hitch I wanted so I went online and found "etrailer "

2014 Ford F-150

The Draw Tite Trailer Hitch is exactly what I needed. It's heavy-duty construction and easy installation made for an easy selection.

I liked the ease of installation and that everything, except the receiver is concealed behind the bumper. I was satisfied with the price, delivery time and shopping experience as well.

2009 F150 stx class III hitch
price, fit good, took 25 minutes, didn’t remove the spare tire.

2014 Ford F-150

Just towed 6300 lbs with it last week, it is still just as strong as the day I installed it..
..Thanks etrailer

Ford F-150

Item arrived a day early, I installed right away and it came out perfect! It so easy to install for one reason, it’s was made and designed exactly for the make/model of my Ford F-150 pick up. Thank you, etrailer!

2014 Ford F-150

Perfect fit for my Ford F-150 4X4 . Towing is great no play in it. Installation was an easy tight fit.

Item arrived faster than expected, and was easily installed. I will be using etrailer again in the future.

Ford F-150

Thank you for your speedy delivery. My hitch came yesterday and I put it on by myself in less than one hour. I used a floor jack to hold it in place. I did not remove the spare.

2009 Ford F-150

Product fit great on my 2009 ford f150 and arrived faster than anticipated. Great product and GREAT company to order from. Highly recommend. Would not hesitate to do business with this company again.

Patrick. Thanx for the follow-up. Hitch works great and still looks new. Great job guys. Keep up the good work.

2014 Ford F-150

Beyond satisfied Great fit. Super quick shipping. Great tracking. Easy install

2013 Ford F-150

Received my Draw Tite Trailer hitch one day before the expected delivery date. I love how tracking of shipping was provided to me daily. Trailer hitch looks terrific and I expect to install this week end if weather permits.

The only draw back I didn't like was that the free shipping on orders over $99 made me think that I only had that much time left showing on the screen. What I didn't know was that the clock start all over again each day that I have been checking it.

Jim M.

I installed trailer hitch in approximatelu 30 minutes. I really like the way it is hidden under the bumper. Everything worked out just perfect. Extremely satisfied with everything

Easy to install. Visually appealing, doesn't hang real low or protrude past the rear bumper. Don't look gaudy like some other hitches.
Performed with out any issues. I used it pulling a trailer every weekend for 5 months straight without any problems.
Recently I checked to make sure that none of the mounting bolts had loosened or that any of the metal had bent or cracked and found no probles.
Very satisfied with the hitch.

David H.

Still very satisfied. No issues. Working fine.

2010 Ford F-150

after looking for several months, I came across Wow....was I glad! They not only had the hitch I wanted, they had it at the lowest price of anywhere I'd checked. Ordering was a breeze....payment was easy,...and the shipment was a day ahead of schedule. Installation took all of 10 minutes and the hitch fits perfectly. I'll definitely be using these people for any other hitch/trailer accessories I need and thank you for such great service!

Joey C.

Thanks for the follow up. The hitch has been doing just “hitches” whatsoever

Fitment was right on. Simple install with a jack to hold up one side. 2013 F150 came without trailer package and 4-prong outlet is prewired and terminates below rear bumper without slack in wiring. Purchased 18" extension from a big box store for $5 and its something you could definitely sell as I had to order an unneeded pin to get me over the free-shipping threshold. Overall awesome service and delivery.

Easy to install and perfect fit to the frame

Ford Escape

Well first of all, I paid for the UPS 3-5 day service and received it in 2 days, all the way from Missouri to Utah, WOW!

I'm not much of a mechanic but I was able to install the hitch in less than 20 minutes without any help. Great product and very pleased.

I'm off to Arizona to escape the cold and snow, trailering my Harley, for some riding and a little golf.

Couldnt be more pleased with the product and service.

2009 Ford F-150

I received my trailer hitch in record time and was very impressed. There was a glitch however with the product and so I contacted customer support and they were very helpful to arrange return shipment. They shipped out a replacement very quickly that was just perfect. It seems very solid and is a good fit with my vehicle. I will not hesitate to do business with etrailer again when the need arises!

All good thanks

2014 Ford F-150

Shipping was unbelievably fast (2 days) and I ordered the fee ground shipping. The Draw-Tite hitch for my '14 F-150 was easier than putting together a toy for my kid. It was literally done in a few minutes. The video, which I watched beforehand, to get an idea of installation was also helpful. Thank you for a great product, at a great price, with great customer service. God Bless!!!

Andrew L.

Still love it. No issues. Great product.

  • Will Full Size Spare Fit With Draw-Tite Hitch on 2011 Ford Raptor
If you install # 75691 on your 2011 Raptor you will not be able to store your spare underneath after hitch installation. The same is true for any aftermarket hitch. If you want to add a hitch the only option will be to relocate your spare.

  • Could Draw Tite Hitch # 75691 Fit 2010 Ford F-150 with Dual Exhaust
You'll have to compare the exhaust setup you installed on your 2010 Ford F-150 to the picture I attached to see if your aftermarket exhaust will fit with the Draw Tite # 75691. Our hitches like this have only be tested on vehicles that have factory exhaust so we don't can't say for certain if they will fit with aftermarket setups. Since this hitch is a bit narrower than most I could see it fitting though.

  • Can Trailer Hitch Be Installed on a 2011 Ford F-150 Raptor Without Relocating Full Sized Spare
All of the trailer hitch options made for your 2011 Ford F-150 Raptor will require you to relocate the full sized spare tire, which means you have a few options available to you: - Purchase a custom made hitch and relocate the spare tire (I recommend the Draw-Tite # 75691 since it has a hidden crosstube) - Have a hitch fabricated to fit with the full sized spare (I'm not sure if this is possible or not) - Find another way to transport whatever it is you're needing the hitch for The...

Without a doubt, for the 2011 Ford F-150, I would recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Max-Frame Trailer Hitch, # 75691, over the other hitches designed for this truck. For less than 20 dollars more than the competitors hitches, the # 75691 hitch has more towing capacity if used with weight distribution, has a curved cross tube for a better appearance under the rear bumper, and has a tab welded to the cross tube to accept brackets for trailer wiring harnesses. All of the hitches designed...

  • How to Determine Max Trailer Weight for Towing with a 2014 Ford F-150
Sometimes the charts in the owner's manuals are confusing and do more harm than good. The best way to calculate the max trailer weight that your 2014 Ford F-150 can handle is by taking the gross combined weight rating (GCWR) found on your door and then subtract the vehicle curb weight along with any additional weight such as aftermarket hitches, people, luggage, and payload. The result will be the max amount of weight that you can tow with your F-150.

The actual towing capacity of your truck will depend on which 6cyl engine it has (3.37 or 3.5L), cab style and which gear ratio in the rear end it has. For the 3.7L engine, the max towing capacity number I see is 6700 lbs for a regular cab 4x2. For the 3.5L, 11300 is the highest rating I see. So, if you won't tow much over 5000 lbs, the Draw-Tite class III, part # 75691 would be a fine choice.
