Will Full Size Spare Fit With Draw-Tite Hitch on 2011 Ford Raptor
Updated 04/01/2024 | Published 03/28/2024 >
Question:
Will this hitch allow the spare full size tire to be stored on my 2011 Ford Raptor? The tire is a bit larger than a stock f150 spare LT315/70R17. I saw a note saying this hitch will not allow the spare to be stored after hitch installation but now I cant find the note. Thank you for your time.

If you install # 75691 on your 2011 Raptor you will not be able to store your spare underneath after hitch installation. The same is true for any aftermarket hitch. If you want to add a hitch the only option will be to relocate your spare.

Ok, I understand I cannot use that model hitch but I am not willing to relocate a 100 lb spare tire. My raptor came with a factory hitch but it was damaged and rusty so I tossed it. So it looks like I will have to get an OEM hitch or an aftermarket reproduction (if there is such a thing) with the correct dimension so I can keep my spare stored under the bed. Correct? Thank you for your time.
