The day goes smoother when everything lines up the first time. This collar clamps tightly to the shank at the right depth so your hitch pin slides through effortlessly. No more crawling around a dirty parking lot or getting pinched fingers.
If you haul with more than one rig, you know every setup is a little different. The slider markings help you remember each position so you can match it quickly the next time. Once you have it dialed, you know exactly where to set it for each vehicle.
The collar clamps tightly to the shank at the depth you set, keeping the pin hole where it needs to be. Slide it in until it stops, drop the pin, and you are done. No crawling under the bumper or fumbling to find the spot.

Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Let's look at the Benton Alignment Collar for 2-inch hitch accessories. So, folks, this is a simple look together today at a hitch alignment collar guide. Now, this is going to go over the shank of your either bike rack by Benton or your accessories and carriers that are 2-inch. And basically, you're gonna use a 3-millimeter hex tool, which is not included, if you need to loosen these hex-head bolts down in there. And that'll allow this to be a little looser, if you need to, you may not need to.
Slide it over your shank, and then basically, once you get your hitch pin in your shank and everything on your accessories, you could then move this knob a little bit, it has some measurements on here. And then once it hits the shank collar, you're gonna basically just tighten this up as much as you can, and then at that point you have this tight over your hitch accessory. This would stay on your accessory, and now you've just literally made a stop to where your hitch pin's always gonna be in alignment, giving you faster time for setup and tear down whenever you have to put in and remove your bike racks, carriers or other 2-inch accessories. And if you need to move between vehicles, you just memorize or write down, however you gotta do it, okay, when I'm on vehicle A, I need to be at a 1/2 inch. And then if I'm on vehicle B, ah, I know I need to be at the 2-inch mark or whatever it is.
And then I put that on that shank, and then when I push it into vehicle B, now my hitch pin is in perfect alignment, no time wasted. It's a very simple design, very strong, lightweight. It's a powder-coated aluminum construction. And that's gonna wrap up our quick look together at this Benton Alignment Collar for 2-inch hitches. I'm Steven.
