This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver gives you a steady 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" opening rated for 2,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 200 lbs tongue weight. It’s ready for towing small trailers, carrying a bike rack, or mounting a cargo carrier without adding bulk. The Class I rating makes it ideal for light-duty towing and weekend hauling when you just need dependable capability.
You can bolt this hitch on without any welding. It’s built for a custom fit with precision, robotic welding that lines up right with the vehicle’s attachment points. The complete hardware kit and installation instructions come in the box, so you can tackle the job in your own driveway without special tools or fabrication.
The hitch uses sturdy, square-tube steel construction and a gloss black powder coat over a protective base coat to fight rust and wear. This finish holds up against the elements while keeping a clean look under the bumper. It’s built to stay solid and reliable through years of towing and everyday use.

Thanks for the follow up Amanda. It is not uncommon for hitches to get bumped out of alignment during shipping. In fact we have a helpful article that describes the options to re-align the hitch for installation. Please see the link for additional information.

The item is outstanding. However, it is way too heavy of a hookup for a Chrysler 200. You couldn’t have developed a better item but the car isn’t quite strong enough to carry this item….
