Ksource Universal Towing Mirror Back ViewKsource Universal Towing Mirror Front View

These adjustable, universal-fit towing mirrors expand your field of vision so you can better see your trailer or anything else that is behind you. The ratcheting strap system gives you a snug fit that reduces mirror vibration. Because the mirror arms adjust into several shapes, they can be attached to a variety of Nissan Frontiers. Each of the mirrors' mounting arms is jointed behind the mirrors so the arms pivot inward or outward. 2 Additional joints in the middle of each arm add further adjustability so you get the perfect fit.

Ksource Sliding Clips on Universal Towing Mirror

Built-in clips on the arms will grab the lip between the glass on your factory mirrors and the factory housing. These clips are also adjustable to fit the thickness of your mirror housing.

Ksource Universal Towing Mirror Ratchet Diagram

The ratcheting system uses heavy-duty rubber straps to tighten the towing mirrors securely over your existing mirrors. Quick-release buttons in the middle of the ratchet levers allow you to unlock the ratchet mechanism for fast strap adjustment or easy removal of the mirrors. When you install the towing mirrors, use the ratchet levers to tighten the straps. When you have the straps securely on your mirrors, close the ratchet covers over the ratchets to lock them in place.

Ball joints behind the mirrors allow you to manually adjust the mirror faces to different viewing angles. You can also turn each entire mirror face to a horizontal or vertical position - whatever works best for your application. Rubber pads on the straps protect the back of your factory mirrors to prevent scratches when these mirrors are installed for towing. Tools and other hardware aren't needed for installation, and the tight fit means there is no danger of losing these mirrors on the side of the road. You'll be ready to travel in minutes, and the increased field of vision will allow you to cruise the highways stress free.

They were easy to install (once you figure out where the strap release button is located) and worked like a charm!
I drive a 2017 Suburban and towed a Keystone Bullet (about 8 1/2’ wide and 30’ long) 160 miles today without any issues.
The mirrors are not what I’d call pleasing to the eye, but they certainly provided an additional 18” of span, enabling me to look down the sides of the trailer and see cars behind me.

As originally mentioned, they are not pretty but they certainly do the job very well and they have become easier to take off and reinstall. I am completely satisfied with this product!

by:

These are working out great! I'm now a wiz at putting them on too. They're great quality, sturdy and snug fitting. Very happy.

Tracie

Still VERY happy! Easy on, easy off. They stay put with no worries. Durable too. Ive got ideas to sew a little padded bag to put them in when Im not using them.

by:
2020 Toyota Highlander

Installation was not quite as easy as the video on the Toyota Highlander application would have suggested, as the Toyo mirrors are oddly shaped and it took a while to find the sweet spot for the ratcheting straps. I wish the video had pointed out the flexibility of the mirror arms, which is a key to getting them installed securel. But that was okay, compared to the difficulty that it takes to adjust the extension mirrors in ANY direction. There's so much resistance that any attempt at adjustment put the entire installation at risk.
Once installed and adjusted, they're solid and do what's expected. It will take some retraining to remember the "outboard" mirrors are there but we're overall happy with our purchase.

Michael

Ive found after two trips that the mirrors dont give us any particular advantage in vision - likely because we have a Casita, which has a relatively narrow footprint. That said, we mastered installation and the mirrors were always stable in use. They just dont offer any real advantage for us.

Jeep Cherokee

I purchased these towing mirror extensions for my Jeep Cherokee so I could see around my camper trailer and they work great. Because they are universal you need to adjust them to fit your rear view mirror, however, once they are fitted to your car they attach snugly and do not budge. We ran into a couple at a campground that asked about them because their towing mirror extensions had actually fallen off while they were traveling. The straps for the K-Source towing mirrors actually ratchet down to your cars rearview mirror, then lock for a firm fit. We are extremely happy with our K-Source Universal Towing mirrors.

Chris

4/5/2024

I have been using these K-Source Universal clip on towing mirrors for over a year now and I am completely satisfied. They adjust and install easily on my Jeep Cherokee, and once installed properly they dont budge. I met a guy while camping one day who was asking about them because he had bought some other brand that had fallen off on his first trip, thanks to etrailer I dont have to worry about that. If I needed another set of clip on towing mirrors I would purchase the again.

The mirrors were purchased for a trip from Ga to Anchorage, AK to assist with a 20' cargo trailer and Ford Expedition. They performed wonderfully and handled the extreme weather.

Michael R.

4/27/2024

Patrick, the mirrors performed fantastic. They were exposed to extreme weather on a 5400 mi journey from Georgia to Anchorage Alaska. Vibration, sub-zero temps, shock, ice, and the elements. Made one adjustment in Kansas.

2017 KiaSorento

Reviewing the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Convex Mirror
Installed on a 2017 KIA Sorento LX. Clean the back of your mirrors before ratcheting these on, it will help them stay in place. I wanted the best angle possible, so I installed then further out on the mirrors. Due to the curvature of the KIA mirror housings, I was not 100% confident that I wouldn’t lose a mirror while on the road. A few zip ties around the base of the housing increased my comfort level. Mirrors held fast at highway speeds. Do they vibrate? Yes. Can I tell you the eye color of the driver in the other vehicle? No. Do they show me much more of the blind spots I cannot see with my vehicle mirrors? ABSOLUTELY. Notice the difference in which vehicles I can see in the pictures. Please excuse the dirty windows, we were camping after all.
Overall I am happy with the clip on mirrors. I will be fashioning a Velcro safety strap and would recommend something similar be added to the product.

by:
2015 Jeep Cherokee

It is a universal fit, I had to add some zip ties to hold the outer strap from slipping g of the end of the mitrror.

by:
Ford F-150

I purchased these as a temporary solution while awaiting the custom fitting tow mirrors that fit over the standard mirrors on a 2022 F-150 Tremor with cameras and puddle lamps. These universal fit mirrors worked fine with minimal vibration - but are a bit fiddly to put on. I "improved" them with cable ties to hold the straps in place between uses and this helped but they still take a few minutes each to put on and adjust. The custom fit mirrors that replaced these take less than 30 seconds each to install. I'll keep these mirrors as a back-up pair in case the new custom fit tow mirrors ever break or go missing.

These ended up in a box in the truck bed as spares - backup for the K-Source Snap &amp Zap Custom Towing Mirrors I purchased later.

@DuncanO Good choice, the K-Source Snap&Zap are awesome!

by:

Work really well
Vibrations not an issue
They
install and remove easily.

Suggestion. Sell product with a rigid/semi rigid storage container as this is an item that needs regular storage, and one does not want to accidentally break (crack) the mirrors.

by:

I like the mirrors. No matter how I fastened them on my 2023 Ford Ranger I could pretty easily pull them off. They might would have stayed on but I added some ball bungees to make sure. Made a 300 mile trip pulling a small trailer with them.

2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee

It took a little attention and adjustment to get the mirrors properly secured with the wraparound clamps in the proper location. On the mirror there is an inner adjustment slot which appeared to work better and when ratcheting the web straps it was good to click one at a time towards the end of tightening. I took them on a test drive, readjusted them and then went on a 500 mile trip up to 65mph with no problems. It does appear as if they're ready to slip off the mirror ends but did not. It would be nice if there was a third horizontal strap that clipped onto the car side of the mirror. Other brands have multiple mirrors but the one mirror added to the original car mirror gave a satisfactory and non confusing rear view.

by:
Chevrolet

I bought these for my sons 2002 Chevy Duramax pickup that was before Chevy offered extension mirrors. They mounted okay but for pulling fifth wheel trailers, I prefer a vertically taller mirror. Dodges flip up mirrors are the best.

by:

I am very happy with these mirrors. I was initially looking for molded mirrors that would slide on my Sideview mirror. However, those were not made for the Subaru at back. I tow a small 16 foot travel trailer. These allow me to see vehicles behind me, and work well when I’m backing up into camping spots. They are easy to install and have stayed very stable on long trips.

by:
2017 Ford Edge

Mirrors vibrated at speeds above 50 mph. I repeated attempted to tighten them but I could barely make out vehicles in the curb side mirror. I replaced them with mirrors that clamp onto the bottom edge of the factory mirrors.

by:
2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Great product. Worked fantastic with my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

by:

It was hard to believe these would be able to stay on securely, but we slapped them on our F-150 and drove a huge trailer to California and back through tons of rain, wind, etc. They were amazingly as solid as a rock. I'd highly recommend these, and love that I can just pull them off be back to normal small mirrors. Thanks!

by:

These hold tight and have held up well. Very well made and easy to install. We use it for a 2013 Toyota Highlander and a 2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport. They're a necessity!! Use on the Highlander is seamless. However, the Rover has folding mirrors (you can't turn off), so we either don't lock our doors, or make for dang sure the strap isn't covering the mirrors' "elbows" when installing them pre-trip. Pictures are of the Rover only.

by:
2019 Ford Explorer

These mirrors work wonderfully! I put them on a Ford Explorer and they stay put. I tried another type and they would not stay. These are perfect. They ratchet down and don't loosen up.

by:

Great service from etrailer as always. I like these mirrors. They clamp on and are very sturdy, no vibration even at highway speeds.

by:

Never Purchase again. Too much vibration. Loose fitting when driving. NOT WORTH THE $.

by:
Toyota Tundra

Seem like a good product but didnt fit my 2022 Tundra (my mistake not etrailers or manufacturers). Very quick to receive product.

by:

I've only used these mirrors one time for a short trip but they made all the difference in the world sight wise on the wide trailer I had to tow. They were firmly attached and I'm pleased that there was not a lot of vibration which would have made the traffic behind me harder to see.

by:

These extended towing mirrors are exactly what I was looking for. They mount easily and stay put while traveling. I can now see better than the standard mirror's that came on the truck when towing my boat.

by:

Easy to attach if follow directions. Only slight vibration on my 2017 Toyota 4runner. The straps disassemble themselves in storage. Once adjusted, remember how they look so can tell which straps go with which side when reinstall.

Ronald

10/6/2023

My 4runner has solidly mounted mirrors so still no problem with vibration. Tape strips on clamps to id leftright and frontback clamps helps a lot.

2018 Toyota Highlander

The mirrors are a good fit, but each requires that 2 ratchet straps are in working order. In my set of 4 straps, one of them does not hold at all, so is worthless. See others mentioning zip-ties, so I will get some that are long enough and try that for this weekend's trip
