This set fits factory mirrors like those pictured above.

These towing mirrors are designed to seamlessly fit the contours of your factory side-view mirrors. Each one includes felt padding inside the housing that protects the factory mirror body from scratches and scuffs. Installation is a snap - just slide the towing mirror over your OEM mirror and insert the provided arm and hand knob through the back of the mirror housing. Then hook the arm around the inside edge of your OEM mirror. Finally, tighten the hand knob to secure the towing mirror in place.

Ford Edge

I purchased a pair of these mirrors for my F-150 last year and they were a huge help while pulling an enclosed trailer. I only used them a few times and have since purchased a F-250 with extendable mirrors so I do not use this type any longer but, while I was using them, I was very satisfied with the extra advantage they gave me while driving especially making turns and backing.
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone needing or desiring some additional reach to be able to see out past the edge of a trailer and I feel they are well worth the money.
If I am ever in the situation again where I need to get mirrors out farther, I will be sure to purchase another pair of these useful mirrors.
Thank You for making this product available for us. : )

2001 Ford F-150

Overall I have been satisfied with these mirrors. They do extend my view down the side of my camper and increase my view of cars following the camper slightly. The fit of the mirror extension was not as precise as I would like. The right mirror seemes to fit fine. The left mirror would pop out of place when tightened down, but remain on the truck mirror. I do have some concern for the plastic clip and nut that hold the mirror on the truck. I would be more confident and give a higher rating if these parts were made out of a less fragile material like brass.

by:

Product fit and concept great. the socket the glass male end goes in very thin and broke on mirrors. I used epoxy glue and twine to repair sockets and hold glass in. Have had on truck for the year. Works good for me.
I would like to thank you for the quick service and handling of the wrong parts sent the first time. Could not have had better service. Would deal with etrailer again because of service

2001 Ford F-150

Works as I expected it to. Very easy to install and reasonably secure once installed. It extends so far out past the OEM mirror, however, that one has to be very careful not to hit anything with it. I lost one on the offside when it struck the mirror of another truck parked on a narrow street (fortunately, I wasn't pulling a trailer at the time). That wasn't this product's fault, certainly, but buyers should be aware that caution and awareness is required. Though the extension was destroyed, there was no damage to either the other truck or to my truck. The extension mirror is easily adjustable. One side held its adjustment very well, the other, not so much.

by:
2003 Ford F-150

The extended slip-on mirrows have worked well. Inexpensive and does help viewing traffic while I'm towing my 24 ft. camper. Very little vibration. They slip on and off easily. One tip: When installing the plastic nut to threaded plastic bolt, push both sides inward with one hand. This seems to put less stress on the bolt and nut and less likely to strip the threads. So far well pleased.

Ford F-150

Purchased these mirror extensions for use on an F150 to pull a camp trailer. Work good. The little plastic hook bolt may be a problem in the future as I am not to optimistic about its durability. For now works good.

by:

The drivers side mirror was not a good fit and I was forced to use some Velcros strip to ensure that the mirror would stay in place and not fall off. On the other hand, the passenger side mirror fit onto the OEM mirror well and I was able to secure it with some confidence that it would not fall off. Both OEM truck mirrors are identical in shape and form, so I was frankly surprised that the drivers side slide on mirror appeared to be too small for the application. I was able to utilize this item to tow my new RV, but had I had the time, I would have returned this item.

by:
2002 Ford F-150

The passenger side mirror fits perfectly, the drivers side tends to pop off its supports. It still works but from time to time I must remove it and reinstall it. Never mind they work great...

by:
2002 Ford F-150

They hold true to mirror. No noticeable vibration, and the best I've actually ever bought. Easy To install, remove, and actually look pretty good on the truck. I have tried others which clamp on with straps, and just come loose from vibration which made them useless. Much better than expected.

by:
1999 Ford Expedition

We have used these mirrors for several trips. They are very easy to install and take off. Provide a very good view to back of Trailer. Price was well worth the Safety Factor!

by:

the passenger side fit ok, the drivers side mirror seemed to be tweeked and doesnt fit well on the bottom of the factory mirror.. the plastic clamps bother me (cheap) and I wish they would include an extra set for when (not if) they break out on the road. For the price I really did expect a better quality product.

by:
2002 Ford F-150

The mirror extenders work great , very little vibration. Not sure how long the plastic nuts will last . Fits great on my 2002 Ford F150 super crew.

by:
2002 Ford F-150

Received the third set of towing mirrors today for a 2002 Ford F-150. These didn't fit either. Went to auto parts store. Got two mirrors that fit for $7 more than it cost me to return the three sets of mirrors that didn't fit.

by:

Mirrors fit perfectly on my F150 and after a year of use they haven't loosened their attachment. I plan on leaving them mounted due to their usefulness.

by:
2003 Ford F-150

I really like these mirrows for the quick and easy mounting to original mirrows.

by:

The mirror extensions were exactly as described. Perfect fit. Installation was only 5 minutes

by:

I think it will work great. The only problem is that the bottom clip part doesn't go up far enough or have a long enough ridge to clip onto the existing mirror. Otherwise it's pretty cool contraption.

by:

The mirrors used plastic wing nut to secure in place.
They both fell off on the freeway
Dont buy

by:
2003 Ford F-150

Awesome mirrors. Perfect fit on my 2003 F150. Nice and secure.

Super fast shipping from etrailer as usual with excellent customer service.

Thanks!

by:

Super easy install. Great quality glass. For the price the fairly cheap (but not bad) look is a non-issue for me. If they hold up and do the job, I'm good!

by:

Product works OK. Mirrors are too magnified. Overall construction is light. If these mirrors were half the price I'd be pleased.

by:

Fits fine, wish they were bigger, adjustment stays put so you can see behind the pick up camper.

by:
2003 Ford F-150

I received the product as advertised and in a very timely manner. Excellent product and excellent delivery. Thank you.

  • Towing Mirror Recommendation for a 2003 Ford F-150 With External Turn Signal on Side Mirrors
I do have a custom towing mirror that will work with your 2003 Ford F-150 King Ranch with the turn signal on the outside of the mirror, but the Longview Custom Towing Mirror, # CTM2300, that you referenced will not fit. Instead, I recommend using the K Source Custom Towing Mirror, # KS81600. We have had many customers comment that this mirror works great with models that have the external turn signal on the mirror and I also reached out to my contact at K Source to confirm that it is compatible. • Custom Fit Towing Mirrors for a 2002 Ford F-150 Super Crew XLT with Half Chrome Mirrors
Since the mirrors on your 2002 Ford F-150 Super Crew XLT have that half-chrome portion you could use Longview towing mirrors # CTM2300. I have included a picture showing the mirror on the same type mirror that you have. The side mirrors that have the chrome trim tend to be a little wider than the standard mirrors and the K Source towing mirrors # KS81600 are not likely to fit.

  • Tow Mirror Recommendation for 2003 Ford F-150
The STX mirrors your truck have are different from the typical mirrors on the 2003 Ford F-150 so the standard custom fit mirrors for your truck won't fit. So you'd need to use a universal style of mirror like the K-Source # KS69ZR which will fit great and are very secure.

I have a solution for you but Longview custom towing mirrors # CTM2300 will NOT fit if your 2003 Ford F-150 has turn signals in the factory side mirrors.
