If you want your vehicle to keep its clean look when you’re not towing, this setup does the job. The tabless design keeps the front end free of bulky crossbars or brackets, and the drawbar arms stay attached to your tow bar instead of your bumper. When not towing, the included high-density polyethylene covers snap over the receivers to keep out dirt and debris so everything slides smoothly when you hook up next time.
Connecting is quick and straightforward. With the tabs attached to your tow bar arms, just insert them into the base plate receivers, twist to lock, and secure with the pull pin. The pins add an extra layer of security so the arms stay put while towing. To disconnect, simply pull the pin, twist, and remove each arm. It’s reliable and easy to manage even when you’re setting up solo.
This base plate kit bolts securely to your vehicle’s chassis with no welding required. Its sturdy design spreads towing forces evenly to reduce stress on your suspension. The durable steel build gives you dependable performance through long trips and repeated use, so you can focus on the drive instead of worrying about the hardware.
Already have a tow bar you like? You can keep using it. This kit works directly with Demco, etrailer, Blue Ox, Demco Kwik-Tow, and Curt Rambler tow bars—no adapter needed. If you’re using a Roadmaster tow bar, Demco offers exact adapter options (DM9523036, DM9523062, DM9523014, or DM9523023) to make it compatible. An included electrical bracket lets you mount a round connector plug up front for a clean wiring setup.
This kit uses a simple bolt-on installation—no welding required—and comes with all necessary hardware and instructions. Everything lines up cleanly with existing chassis points so you can achieve a professional-looking install at home without special tools. Specs include a 23-1/2" distance between brackets and a 17" bracket height, making it easy to plan your setup from start to finish.

The Demco base plate for our 2025 Jeep Gladiator is still the best choice out there. It required no drilling or cutting and is easily swapped out as we lease our Jeep and need to put it on the next Jeep every year. Also very easy to hook up and very robust construction.

I installed this base plate on my 2008 Jeep Wrangler a year ago. We just came off our second trip in that year and we have driven over 13,000 miles. This base plate is a beast and has performed fantastically with no problems or errors. Typical hook up time for my Jeep from start to finish is less than 5 minutes and this includes installing my RVI Break 3 system. I can not stress any harder that this base plate is, in my opinion, the best you can buy.
