When you’re not towing, the last thing you want is bulky brackets hanging off the front. This setup keeps things tidy. The main body stays completely hidden for a clean, OE look, and the removable arms come off fast so the bumper area stays clear and uncluttered. It’s a simple way to keep your ride looking stock while still being ready to tow at any time.
No fumbling around when it’s time to connect. The twist-lock tabs let you slide each arm in, twist, and lock them in place with a solid, confident feel. You’ll spend less time setting up and more time on the road. It’s also compatible with the Blue Ox tow bar part # BX7365, so if that’s what you’re already using, it’ll hook right up without any extra parts.
Towing puts a lot of stress on your setup, but this base plate’s welded steel construction spreads towing forces evenly across the chassis to help protect your suspension. It’s precisely welded for strength and fit, then protected by a durable high-gloss black powder coat and rust-resistant liquid Bonderite coating. It’s been physically tested to gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) standards and carries a limited lifetime warranty for long-term peace of mind.
If you like tackling projects yourself, this kit is made for it. The installation is a simple bolt-on process—no welding required—and all the necessary hardware is included in the box. Once mounted, the brackets measure 31" apart with a bracket height of 28", so you can line up your tow bar setup precisely before hitting the road.

Base Plates mounted on my 2022 Ford Bronco is holding up 100. Great quality finish that has not rusted. I have seen base plates from other companies being installed on Broncos and they are making major modifications. Not my Curt Custom Base Plates. An easy DYI with no major modifications. We have towed our Bronco 13,000 miles behind our Class A and its a flawless tow. These base plates were also priced much better then other brands. Thank you Etrailer!
