This setup uses fixed draw bars that bolt directly to the chassis, giving you a strong and stable connection point for your tow bar. The sturdy design spreads towing force evenly to help prevent stress on the suspension while keeping the front end solid through long hauls. The entire assembly is made from durable steel and powder coated to resist rust and corrosion, so it stays dependable over time.
The low-profile reinforcements give the front of your vehicle a streamlined look instead of bulky brackets or hardware sticking out. The crossbar support beam blends in well with the bumper, keeping everything looking neat when you’re not towing. It’s a visible setup, but still designed with attention to how it fits into the front end’s lines for a tidy finish.
This kit is built for straightforward installation—no welding required. It bolts securely to the chassis using the included mounting hardware. Everything is laid out so you can handle the install with standard tools and clear access points, making it a practical weekend project for anyone who likes to do their own setup.
The sturdy lugs pair directly with Blue Ox tow bars for a secure connection every time you hook up. If you’re using a different system, it’s adaptable with Roadmaster tow bars when paired with adapter RM-031 or RM-031-5 (sold separately) or with Demco tow bars using adapter DM9523041 (sold separately). With a distance between brackets of 24" and a bracket height of 13", it’s easy to plan your setup around these specs for proper alignment.

When you’re logging thousands of miles on cross-country trips, reliability matters. This base plate’s solid steel build and even load distribution give you that confidence on every tow. It’s backed by a 3-year warranty, rounding out a setup that’s built to take on serious travel and keep performing trip after trip.

Glad the install went smoothly, Grant! Even with those weird handle nuts (which I agree are kind of odd). What's the first trip you have planned? And I will let Alex know what you said as well! : )

it still looks nice and working as it should. i made it also double as a base to bolt up my winch. the bonus thing is when i need to tow it i can undo 4 bolts and take my winch off. i think you guys at e-trailer should consider making something like this as a option. i have pictures of it installed but how do i send them to you?

Thanks for your review, Richard! It sounds like this was a fairly involved installation, but we're glad to hear everything came together successfully in the end. We appreciate you sharing the details of your process, especially the tips about the tight frame rail clearance and drilling challenges, as those insights may help other RV owners tackling the same project. Thanks for including the photo as well. Your finished installation looks great! Now that it's installed and you're moving on to the diode kit and brake away switch, what adventure are you looking forward to most this summer in your RV?
