Does Blue Ox Tow Bar Require Blue Ox Base Plate on 2000 Ford Focus

I have a ford focus 2000 manual, I have a blue ox tow bar with the single and triple end pieces will this work with the roadster base plate you have in stock or do I need to purchase a blue ox specific base plate, it’ll be hooked up to an airforce one system when finished. Thanks in advance
