Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Dometic RV toilet floor flange adapter. This is going to allow you to take your two bolt floor flange that you currently have holding on your toilet. And it's going to allow you to adapt that to a four bolt Sealand or Traveler toilet. So, if you are wanting to switch out your toilet for a new one, the new system has four bolts, but your current one only has two, this is the adopter that you're going to need. Comes with all the hardware that you're goona need to secure this down.

You will need a drill and a one eight inch drill bit to drill out the holes where that hardware's gonna go. You'll also need some silicone caulk to get this mounted on top of your current flange, but once everything is installed and put in place it's gonna give you a nice tight seal. It's going to be very firm. You're not going to have to worry about wobbling and that sort of thing. So, they do include instructions to walk you through the installation process.

Every step of the way, from removing the old one to getting this new one put in place and finished up. You can see this does also have this outer spacer ring. This is gonna serve a couple of purposes. One, it's going to help you to know how far out you'll need to cut your carpet if you do have carpet around your original flange. But then, it's also going to kind of dress up that gap that is formed.

So, when you put your toilet in place you're not going to see any gap, it's gonna look it's gonna blend right in and be a nice seamless look for you. As far as our dimensions go, our overall width we're looking at right about, we're gonna call it eight and nine sixteenths of an inch wide. Our inner diameter opening is roughly, four and nine sixteenths of an inch wide. So, if you are wanting to install the Traveler or Sealand toilets that have those four bolt flanges systems and you currently have that two bolt flange installed, this is gonna be the adopter that you need whether that's on your RV or a boat. This is gonna be a really nice option to make sure that your toilets can be securely mounted onto your floor.
