What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we'll be checking out the Valterra EZ Flush Sewer Hose. We've got it connected to our rig today, got it laid out to just show you. It's gonna be a good sewer hose when it's time to dump that tank. It's something you can rely on, it's not gonna rip easily, it's gonna be there nice and ready in your basement door whenever you need it. Let's check it out.
You're gonna get 20 feet of length with the sewer hose, so it's gonna be plenty, that way, if you can park close to it, you can, and if you have to park a little bit farther away from the dump tank, it also still works, so that's good to have a hose with all that maneuverability. Now, the standout feature of it, it's gonna be the bayonet connection here on the rig side of things. Right here, see this is a little different than some of the other ones. Let me rotate and show you. This rotates independently of the rest of the hose, so on some of the other ones, this is stationary, so when you go to do this, you're twisting the whole hose when you're gonna lock that in place.
On this one, you're not have any of that twisting, you just twist that over. It locks into place. It didn't curl the hose up or bend it a different way. The other thing is the construction of the hose itself. I like that you can pull kinda tight there, and you get a little bit more out of there, or it constricts itself that way it's nice and neat here.
It's gonna be made out of a 15 mil vinyl, so you know what's going to hold up when you leave it out, the elements are not gonna bother it at all. And it's gonna keep its shape. It doesn't seem flimsy. I've always worried about the cheaper ones that look like they're gonna rip if you just accidentally hit it with something. This seems like it's gonna last, I can bend it with my hands, it doesn't seem like it's gonna break or crack or anything like that.
Looking at this end of the hose, it's gonna be empty. There's not gonna come with anything on it, but we did put the adapter on there for the Presto fit. So that's sold separately and we're using the Presto fit elbow here for the dump tank. And what Presto fit does is you just push it on there, just like that with their accessories and it's all hooked up and ready to go. I really like that. I liked the adapter allows you to take any hose and make it fit their accessories cause it's just so easy to use them whether you're putting it together or taking it apart to clean it out. So if you're getting one of these for one of your first adventures, I would also recommend getting the seal here. That's also from Valterra. That's going to keep any liquids or fumes coming out of there, just making it a less nasty experience when you have to do dump the tank. Now, another thing I recommend is the hose stand. You can see under here, that's just keeping it up and off the ground. You can go around obstacles or up and above things just to keep gravity doing this thing when it's time to drop it. Overall, it's a great sewer hose. It seems sturdy. I'm not worried about its construction. It doesn't come with that elbow end, but that's okay. You can get those parts separately. The thing it does have though, is that swiveling bayonet. I really liked that cause you know, we've done a few of these today and some of the other hoses, you did go to turn in and then it would kind of, if you had it on the stand, it would kind of rotate on the stand, you have to reset that up every time as the hose falls off of there. It's nice that it just goes independently, locks in and doesn't mess up your whole setup. Well, that does it. Thanks for hanging out. And I hope this helped..
