When the roads turn slick with snow or light ice, these Konig diamond-pattern chains keep your tires locked in with steady grip. The pattern puts a section of the chain on the ground at all times, so traction stays consistent even when the surface is uneven. The square links dig into snow for bite while keeping the ride smooth instead of bumpy like a ladder-style chain. It’s a solid setup for both on-road and off-road winter driving.
You won’t waste time fighting with these chains out in the snow. The built-in assisted tensioning system lets you pull them tight without tools or extra parts. Just connect the color-coded hooks and clips, tug the tensioners, and you’re set. The design means there’s no risk of losing separate adjusters and no need to drive onto the chains. Once tensioned, they stay centered and snug so you can keep moving with confidence.

These chains are made from high-quality manganese nickel alloy steel for strength and corrosion resistance. The tough construction holds up to repeated use in wet, salty conditions without weakening. Powder-coated side chains and nylon bumpers add protection from scratches on your rims, so you get durability and clean-looking wheels season after season.
Even in deeper snow, the square links bite in for dependable traction while keeping the ride surprisingly smooth. The 5/8" internal clearance gives you reliable space without extra bulk, and the balanced link layout keeps vibration low. They’re great for mountain passes, snowy driveways, or backcountry access roads where you need grip without rough handling.
After winter roads clear, these chains store neatly in the included nylon bag. It keeps them dry and organized under your seat or in your cargo area so they’re ready for the next trip. Each package includes two tire chains, built to fit 16"–24" tires with a 5-year warranty for added peace of mind.

Great chains. I use a set of four on a subaru outback. Living at elevation, snow and ice. Not uncommon wintertime scene.
Pretty easy on (have a pair of leather gloves and headlamp), five minutes ideally to get all four on in the dark.
Practice with them before the storm.
Very easy off.
Will vibrate your teeth out if travelling on plowed roads, but that's not what they're intended for anyway. Take them off and throw them in the trunk.
I used these chains for the first time to get me home after work when winter storm Jonas hit the east coast. The snow was so deep that I only had trouble when the snow started to pick my car off the ground. I made it all the way home with these chains but did notice a few links broke during the 30 minute drive home. I wasn't going any faster than 20-25 mph on the way home. I couldn't go any faster given how bad the roads were. These chains were easy to install and I did drive a few miles before stopping and retightening them as per the instructions. The chains can be used again even with the broken link but I will have to repair them in the spring or buy new ones next year.
eTrailer di an excellent job in helping me select the appropriate chains for my specific driving needs. The communications was outstanding, the package arrived when promised, and the follow-on check to make sure I was able to install and test was exceptional. I strongly recommend.
This was the fastest next day shipping! I ordered late and the next thing I knew the shipper picked it up, and was at my door mid morning! Thank you! In time for a storm!
Chains fit 2022 F350 Tremor with 285/70R18 tires. A little difficult to drape around tire evenly due to the deep lugs/siping on Dura Trac tires but not bad. Plenty of clearance to brake and suspension components. Get some parachute cord to place over the tensioning chain on the rear tire to protect the hub. Have not used in snow yet. A bit pricey but high quality and fairly easy installation both front and back. I also have Konig chains for my Subaru Outback that are excellent. Etrailer customer service is always excellent.
Do NOT buy these chains if you own a Tesla, and I cannot recommend etrailer.com at this point either. I purchased these tire chains Item #TH01221102 for my Model 3 from etrailer.com on based on their recommendation and videos. When I received the chains I test fit them and they seemed to fit and looked fine on the tires. I did not have to actually use them for several months. After a single use, one of the center join links opened before finishing a 15 mile trip at 25 mph. I replaced it with a repair link. I made a 2nd short trip at 25 mph and another center joining link came open after less than 30 minutes of 25 mph driving. I replaced that link with another repair link and it's happened a 3rd time. I contacted etrailer.com because clearly something is not right. etrailer.com referred me to Pewag and Konig to file a warranty claim. All good, I filed a claim and Konig's response was they would honor the warranty claim ONE TIME ONLY (5 year warranty is now VOIDED) because these are not the right chains for my vehicle, and Konig sent me a brand new set of chains, which is nice, but does me no good since they NOT the right chains. I came back to etrailer.com to try to address this further, and at first they blamed me and said I bought the wrong size (I didn't) and provided a link to the correct ones. That link included a listing for the same chains and size I bought. I emailed back and pointed out to them that this was not my fault, and they acknowledged it. I asked them to please do the right thing and allow me to exchange the brand new "wrong" chains which they recommended and sold me, for the correct ones which Konig recommends. I stated I would be willing to pay for a cost difference. Unfortunately, they have not responded to me or any subsequent emails. Not a good experience.
I am attaching an image of where these chain links fail. Red highlights are the failing links. Green are repaired links. I'm pretty sure this is why Konig says don't use these chains on a Tesla.
These chains fit my 2019 Hyundai Kona EV (2WD) well and were just the thing add traction in deep snow after the recent blizzard. They are easy to put on (though the weather and sand/salt on the roads wet, cold and dirty to deal with) and they work very well to boost traction. They are a great value and I would highly recommend!
I have to say I'm extremely satisfied with these tire chains!! They're so aggressive and work well with my corolla. My at is front wheel drive and the weight of the motors sits perfectly in line with the tire/chain combination. They bite and dig right in the snow and ice. My drive way is very long as you can see and quite dangerous in snowy conditions. I've had numerous times where I've had to slip the chains on and it was a breeze. They're so easy to put on and off. I feel extremely confident throughout the winter season with the Thule tire chains in the back of my trunk. Thank you so much! You guys have great products going!
Pleased to say I can finally review these tire chains. I bought them as a precautionary measure before going up to Vermont for a week earlier in January. Used them extremely briefly up there and thought they were solid.
Fast forward a couple weeks to now, and we received 20+ inches of snow in about 24 hours in central Massachusetts. Got to and from my friends' house for the Pats AFC Championship game while the snow was dumping no problem. No need to dig my car out, no need to concern myself with which roads had been plowed or not, and no need to avoid hills in either direction. I never thought my FWD wagon with 6" clearance and all-seasons would eat snow like this. The chains are peace of mind to the highest degree. At this point I think they should plow the roads less!
Mounting is pretty easy too, but they require some finagling to get them in place when you're doing it out in the snow. Getting them off is more annoying because you have to blindly find the connector on the backside of the tire, but it's not bad with some patience.
Shipping was very fast, the tire chains had a hard plastic case, which is great. Visually they look great, brand new, no hardware is damaged, it all fits together properly by hand. I haven't checked the fit yet, I will update my review if they don't fit.
Too expensive.
Excellent service and quick delivery
fast and very easy install / removal - bought a set for my son to use also...
I have not used these yet. But I have purchased before and they are a well made product. Easy installation once you do it once, read the directions.
This is my second snow chain of Konig. Great quality. There're similar products out there for cheaper price. But this build quality and thoughtful detailed design worth its price.
These chains are easy to install and store. Highly recommmend.
I just practiced installing these chains. It went very smoothly while following the easy to use instructions. Pretty quick, less than 5 minutes per tire.
These chains are solid and well built. Did a test fit and were easy to install and fit well on 265/60 R20 tires. I chose Konig brand chains based on other web site forum reviews, but trailer.com not only carried them in the size I needed but had a ton of information and help videos the helped me be confident in my choice. etrailer.com not only delivered them fast, the communication before and after was great.
Nice chains and easy setup.

Hey Gregg! This is awesome to know. We recently got a bunch of snow here and a lot of people were slippin and sliding around the roads. I think they need to get some chains like yours.
