When the road turns into a snowfield, these low-carbon steel twist-link chains give your dual tires the bite they need to keep moving. The rounded links form tough cross chains that pack deep into snow while keeping jarring to a minimum. You get solid traction for climbing grades, starting out from a stop, or holding control on icy patches.
The ladder-style layout helps your tires grip evenly across the tread, so you can ease into motion or bring a heavy load to a controlled stop without unnecessary wheel spin. It’s a simple, proven pattern that works whether you’re dealing with packed snow, loose powder, or a slick driveway.
Each chain is made from low-carbon steel for dependable strength and durability. The 0.218" (5.5 mm) thick links hold up to repeated use in deep snow and mud without losing their shape. They’re tough enough for heavy traction demands yet flexible enough to handle rough roads at the chain’s 30 mph maximum speed rating.
These chains are manually installed and adjusted, which means there are no cams to pop loose when you back up or hit uneven ground. Use rubber or chain adjusters (sold separately) for a snug, even fit that stays tight mile after mile.
Each set includes two dual-tire chains—one for the driver’s side and one for the passenger’s side—made to wrap around both tires on one side of your rear axle. When the job’s done, pack them back into the included reusable canvas bag for neat storage until the next snowstorm hits.
These chains fit the following tire sizes:
