Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this aluminum Viking Series Valhalla black spoke trailer wheel. Now, this wheel is built for those who actually put their trailers to work, not just for looks. This wheel is rated for 2,150 pounds, so it's more than capable of handling heavier loads without feeling like you're pushing your limits. One of the biggest advantages is the material that this is constructed of. It's made from aluminum, which means it won't rust like traditional steel wheels, and that's a big deal if you're around moisture, road salt, or launching in and out of the water.
On top of that, this does have a protective clear coating on both sides, so this is gonna hold up really well over time without pitting or flaking. Now, it's not just about durability. This also, as you can see, looks sharp. This Valhalla design has black spokes with machined black accents, so it's gonna give your trailer a clean, bold upgrade instead of that plain utilitarian look that most wheels have. And where this wheel really does stand out is the details.
This wheel has steel inserts that are built into the lug nut holes, and that's important, because aluminum alone can wear down over time. But these inserts are gonna keep the lug nuts tight. They're gonna help maintain proper torque and make sure that your wheel stays securely seated, so it means less maintenance and more confidence when you're hauling and going down the road. Now, fitment is pretty straightforward, here. This is a 15" in diameter by 5" wide wheel.

The pilot diameter is 3.19", and something that I don't see a whole lot with wheels is this also includes the center cap, so that's great. Our lug nuts, by the way, uses 1/2" by 20 lug nuts.
So, the center cap, like I said, is included. You're also going to get the valve stem, so you're not gonna be scrambling to look for extra parts. I have the TA75FR wheels and the wheels are great. Have received compliments on their looks but the center caps do show a little rust which I have tried to clean up.

Still rolling! I had a brief break down. Under the loads carried by ANY rim while towing, I have had two completely different brands, one Fuel and one Taskmaster, crack. There were NOT catastrophic but small cracks along the centerline. I believe this is a manufacturing casting process weakness. All that said, both times, for both wheels, they were fully covered under warranty, no problems and quick turnaround. The hardest part was putting on the spare tire. I am confident these wheels are good and have probably proved that. Both times road hazards may have been the true issue. Potholes are hazardous to heavy loads. Although I cannot prove this, I am more vigilant for road hazards. We full time RV and rely upon working wheels. I would buy these anytime. They look good. These Taskmaster wheels have one of the highest load ratings available.
