The Dexstar Solid Center Steel Wheel measures 12" diameter x 4" wide and is rated for 1,250 lbs. Long days on wet roads or around moisture won’t faze this wheel. It’s finished with a white powder coat over an e-coat primer to keep rust and corrosion at bay. The smooth surface not only looks clean but also keeps its shine and structural integrity through seasons of use.
Getting the right match for your setup is simple with clear specs that make sense. This wheel has a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, uses 1/2"-20 wheel bolts, has a pilot diameter of 3.19", and a 0 offset. That’s a standard, balanced setup that makes alignment and mounting straightforward.
The solid center design does away with spokes for a tougher, cleaner look that’s easy to maintain. Made from sturdy steel with precise construction, it keeps balance consistent and ensures a smooth roll every time you tow or move your load.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Today, we're going to review part number AM20112. This is the Americana 12 inch x 4 inch solid center steel trailer wheel with the 5 on 4/12 inch bolt pattern and white in color. This wheel is made of a sturdy steel construction, has the nice white powder coat finish over an e-coat primer over the whole wheel. This will give you excellent corrosion resistance. Now, this design wheel is the solid center design. It does not have any spokes or holes in it. This is a high quality wheel that will meet the Department of Transportation specifications.
Now, the rim dimension on this wheel is going to be 12 inches in diameter x 4 inches wide. The way you would measure that is you're actually going to measure when a tire is seated on the wheel. It would seat right on these beads here, so you're basically going to measure from bead seat to bead seat, so it's inside to inside on the diameter. If we put a ruler on it, you can see it's 12 inches in diameter. We will do the same on the width, bead seat to bead seat, so the inside to inside. There, you can see it's 4 inches wide, so 12 inch diameter 4 inches wide.
Now, the bolt pattern on this is a 5 lug on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. The best way to measure that is on a wheel that has an odd number of lugs. What you want to do is pick a hole, measure from the center of that starting hole and then go to a hole across from it, either one of those and you'll measure to the outer or further edge, so from the center of the starting hole to the outer edge of the hole across from it. We're going to put it down here. I'm going to measure starting hole, this one right here from the center and into the furthest edge. You can see it's 4-1/2 inches, so 5 lug 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern.
Does use a wheel lug size of a 1/2 inch x 20. Now, the pilot hole diameter, which is that large hole here in the center goes over the hub on your trailer. Let me give you a diameter of that hole. It's going to be right at 3.19 inches for the pilot hub diameter and then the weight capacity on this wheel is 1250 pounds. That should do it for the review on part number AM20112, the Americana 12 inch x 4 inch solid center steel trailer wheel with the 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern.

I placed an order for one 13" wheel, 4 at 4 pattern with a very polite young lady. I had looked up the one I needed on their easy to use (I'm proof) website. The wheel was in stock and then on my front porch in just a couple of days via UPS. Product was exactly what I needed and did not require any modifications.

I am building a little gasoline powered car for my grandson, and it will typically look like a classic era Packard, so I was searching high and low for solid disk centered small wheels to replicate the ones on a 1930 Packard and these wheels from Etrailer fit the bill perfectly. It is a ground up build from scratch, so it will be a while, but I want to post pictures here when it is a little further along. etrailer was very helpful and accommodating.
