Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this Kenda Karrier KR53 ST235 80R16 Radial Trailer Tire with this 16-inch White Spoke Wheel. Now, this radial trailer tire comes pre-mounted on this 16-inch white spoke steel wheel with red and blue pins stripes, as I hope you can see right there, and this has an 8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern. So whether you're replacing a worn out setup or you're prepping a new trailer, you're gonna save time and skip the hassle of separate mounting and inflation. Now this KR53 tread is optimized for road control and trailer stability.
The low rolling resistance is gonna help maintain fuel efficiency and steady tracking on long-distance hauls, and the radial construction's gonna help reduce heat buildup and promote longer tread life, especially on extended trips. So as I mentioned at the beginning of our time together and as we have stamped in our tire, this is an ST235 80R16. This is a Load Range E tire, meaning it has a 10-ply rating. The maximum load capacity is 3,520 pounds at 85 PSI. And this tire has a speed rating of N, indicating a maximum speed of 87 miles per hour.
This white spoke steel wheel features, as I mentioned, a red and blue pinstripe and a rust-resistant white powder coat finish. I think it's gonna hold up pretty well against the elements. And looking at the dimensions of our wheel, looking at the diameter first, measuring bead seat to bead seat, that diameter is 16 inches. And then the width of the wheel is six inches. Again, that bolt pattern is 8 on 6-1/2 inches.
And in case you don't know, the first number in that bolt pattern is going to be the number of bolt holes. The second number is the diameter in inches of the circle on which those bolt holes sit. So to determine the bolt circle diameter on wheels with an even number of bolt holes, as we have here, you're simply going to measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the bolt hole directly across from it. The wheel bolt size is 1/2 inch by 20. The capacity of the wheel is 3,750 pounds.
This does not include a center cap, but if you decide to pick one up, you just wanna make sure that it fits the pilot diameter of 4.90 inches.
