When your trailer takes a beating from road debris or weather, fragile lights can’t keep up. This armored clearance and side marker light uses a heavy-duty steel housing that shields the lens and bulb from impact and corrosion. It’s built for rugged use and holds up well over time, even when exposed to dirt, rocks, or moisture during long hauls.
Water inside a light can ruin bulbs fast. This light uses a durable gasket that creates a weathertight seal between the housing and the trailer surface. Combined with its snap-on acrylic lens, the seal helps keep out rain, dust, and road spray—so your light keeps shining bright instead of fogging up or corroding.
Visibility matters most when you’re towing at night or in low light. The PC rating on this 4-1/2" by 2" rectangular light means it shines out at a full 180-degree beam spread—90 degrees to either side of centerline. That wide coverage helps others see your trailer from both the front and sides, keeping you safer on the road.
Replacing an old or broken light shouldn’t mean drilling new holes. With mounting holes spaced 3-7/8" apart horizontally and 13/16" vertically (center-to-center), this light lines up with standard patterns used on many trailers. The single-wire design grounds through its mounting hardware, making wiring fast and clean—no extra ground wire needed.
This light runs on a common 194 wedge base bulb that draws 2.7 amps at 14 volts. When it eventually burns out, simply pop off the lens and replace it—no need to swap the entire fixture. It’s compatible with 12V DC systems and designed as an easy, long-term solution for dependable marker and clearance lighting.

Showed up on time. It is exactly like I wanted.?works well. Only thing they could do is get people in shipping to package them properly for shipyard. By the scratches and in the box loosely, I can see the error. If I was goningbto put them on a show vehicle I would send them back. It’s an old work truck

These seven lamps are replacing the same amount of near identical older lamps of late 70's era on a former fire department rescue truck from CA that I'm restoring. An ideal situation is that the mounting and wiring holes match up exactly to the same on the truck, thus I'm not having to drill a single new hole in order to mount the new replacement lamps. Additionally, the lenses in the new lamps are so much easier to remove than the lenses on the older one's (for bulb changes). I'm totally happy with these new lamps, as I am also with E-Trailer where I've made purchases of great products in the past.
I have these lights on the back of my small trailer. The metal sheilding is much stronger than other "armored" lights that are really just a plastic frame around the red lens.

I bought one yellow and one red. Very tough, strong and fully sized.
A perfect match for my existing Grumman Olson marker lights.
The original manufacturer does not have them; and the lights sold locally are about 20 percent smaller and cheaply made.
Additionally, you have wait 8 weeks to get them.
