What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out this Custer LED tail light. Today, we're gonna be installing our new tail lights on our flatbed Big Tex trailer behind me. This is the old light versus our new one. Now, the old one only has six diodes on it versus the new one's gonna have 20 diodes, so that's already gonna be much brighter. Then with the more clear lens on it, more light's gonna shine through as well.
It's gonna have all the same functions as your standard tail light, so it can be used as a tail light, a brake light, or even blinkers. It's also gonna be able to be submerged to the water, so you don't have to worry about that if it does happen with your trailer. Now, let's get it plugged in and see how bright it is. Just line up the three prongs. Push it in.
And then we can push the light in to our grommet that's sold separately. Left turn. Tail lights. Brake lights. Speaker Let me see left turn again.
You can see a difference between our new one and the old one. The old one lights up, you can see it here at midday, but the new one sticks out far more with those extra diodes on there and that clear lens. The measurements for the light are gonna be six and 1/2 inches long and then two and 5/16 inch wide. So just go ahead and measure the lights on your trailer to make sure these are gonna fit. Overall, definitely an upgrade for existing LED lights on this trailer.
Now, if you had incandescent lights on your trailer, it would be a big upgrade just because the incandescents don't last that long. They have bulbs that can wear out, and you'd have to replace those. These LEDs gonna last longer, be brighter, and so you won't have to mess with 'em on your trailer for a long time. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out and hope this helped.
