Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this Demco Primed A-Frame Trailer Coupler with Jack Hole and EZ-Latch. Now, if you're looking at this coupler, you're probably dealing with a heavy duty A-frame setup that's designed to be welded directly onto your trailer frame. This is rated for up to 18,000 pounds, so it is built for serious towing. So, think equipment trailers, large cargo haulers, or heavy campers.

The primed finish is gonna give you that added protection before installation. And one of the standout features is Demco's EZ-Latch system. It's a clever design where you don't have to fuss with opening the latch before hitching it up. It's one of my favorite latches that we see on couplers. So, I've got a 2-5/16-inch ball here.

I just wanna give you a brief demonstration of how easy this is gonna be to you. So, as you can see, the latch is down (clangs) and then it easily and securely latches onto, couples onto my 2-5/16-inch ball. Then when I'm ready to uncouple, just lift at the latch, and there you go. So, that's how simple this is going to be. Really gonna be no hassle at all.

And this is going to allow you to really do some heavy-duty towing with that 18,000-pound capacity. And it's going to meet the SAE J684 safety standards. Now, you will weld this into place whether you do it yourself or professionally. And just to give you some measurements here, looking at the width first, and the widest point here is at the back, we're looking at about 8-1/4 inches. The overall length, that's gonna be a little trickier to show, but I just kind of wanna give you an idea.

I'm gonna say right at about 14-3/4 inches end to end, just a rough measurement there. And that jack hole in the middle is gonna fit the standard 2-1/4-inch round jack.
