I bought the Spindle Seal kit #3. This kit was exactly what I was looking for. I couldn't find this at a trailer company or a major bearing and seal company. I was told everything was obsolete. I finally contacted etrailer and spoke with Amy; she gave me every dimension and took the extra time to help me with my solution. She stayed with me on the phone as I measured in thousands. Very informative and knew exactly what I needed. Customer service is spot on. The best!! They are now my go to trailer supply chain. Thank you

I had new inner seals on EZ Lube axle leak grease on brakes. Pretty frustrating. I changed to Bearing Buddies and these inner seals to hopefully fix the problem. Looks like a great system.

That does sound super frustrating. These seals do have a tighter fit so I'm hopeful they will last longer and hold in that grease for ya.

Great product but with 1 feature I didn't like. The o'ring is very thin and I felt it would not be sufficient to keep water out. So after assembling everything I filled the gap between the original seal diameter on the stub axle and the new ss seal ring with rtv compound.

etrailer was informative and knowledgeable on product. Pricing was very good.
My old jet ski trailer was getting impossible to keep grease in wheel bearings. The Bearing Buddy spindle seal system was easy to install and looks like it should work perfectly. As you can see in pictures the spindles have significant wear and the kit fit perfectly. I expect to not be throwing grease everywhere.

This was for a 2003 triton 16’ boat trailer, 13” wheels. The seals in this kit will work with ez-lube spindles that have the permanent collar ring. Beware of the complete L44649 bearing kits that have the 1.25” seal; make sure you measure your seal first. The rings included were not needed for my application. No one local had the correct size - these seals are about 1 3/8” inside diameter. Ordered late on Fri, had them here Mon. Thank you etrailer!

The old corroded grease seal seat on the spindle would not hold Grease. This replacement surface for the seal seat and the accompanying slightly larger grease seal solve the problem perfectly, and at no great difficulty. A splendid arrangement!

- How Does the Spindle Seal Set part # BB60003 InstallI attached a picture that shows a diagram for how the Spindle Seal Set part # BB60003 would install on a spindle. Installing the shoulder ring first gives the O-ring something to press against so that it can seal better. Reversing the order would defeat the purpose. I attached the demo video you referenced as well.

- Which Replacement Grease Seal with 1.750 Inner DiameterThe Grease Seal - Double Lip - ID 1.719" / OD 2.565" - for 3,500-lb Axles - Qty 2 # RG06-050 is the correct replacement for a 171255TB seal and I'm not seeing a grease seal we have that has a 1.750 ID. You do want a tight seal on your hubs so that the grease is sealed in and water, dust, debris, etc., is kept out, so it might just be that he's having trouble getting it seated properly. These are followed by the L-shaped steel seal ring, then the O-rings. The actual large grease seal itself is installed into the hub's bore and then mates up with those other three parts already on the spindle. The linked video illustrates the last 3 items but does not the flat steel washers.
