Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a real quick look at this DMAX 38-inch long rubber hydraulic brake hose. This flexible brake hose (hose thudding) (hose swooshing softly) is going to act as part of your trailer's hydraulic braking system. It connects your hydraulic brake actuator to your trailer brakes when used (hose thudding) with additional lines and fittings, which are sold separately. And that flexible design (hose swooshing softly) is going to make this hose perfect for use with your foldaway trailer tongues, disc brakes, and torsion axles. This rubber hose is going to meet the DOT (hose clicking) and SAE standards. And as you've no doubt already noticed, this does include three sixteenths of an inch brass male inverted flare fittings on either end.
And brass is softer, to provide a better seal than steel fittings. And the hose length from end to end, and I went ahead and confirmed the measurement before our time together, is 38 inches long. And that inner hose diameter is one eighth of an inch. (hose thudding softly) Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today, I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
