Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this DeeMaxx 13" hub-and-rotor assembly for your 8,000-pound trailer axles. Now, if you're looking to upgrade from drum to disc brakes, this hub-and-rotor assembly is gonna make the switch pretty simple for you. This single-piece design means installation is gonna be quick and straightforward. No need to worry about contaminants sneaking between the hub and rotor.
Everything is machined from cast iron and precision balanced for a smooth, reliable ride. And because of the vented design, it's going to dissipate heat efficiently, helping to prevent warping or heat-related wear. And if you notice here in the hat section that even has drainage holes that let water escape easily, reducing the risk of corrosion. And with the durable Maxx coating, you're gonna get excellent rust resistance, whether you're driving in fresh water or salt water environments. In fact, this has been tested to withstand over 1000 hours of salt spray.
So this is going to include 5/8" wheel bolts and standard races that are already pressed in so you're gonna be ready to go. Again, this is going to be designed for your 8,000-pound trailer axles. It's going to fit wheel sizes from 16" to 17 1/2". And this bolt pattern is 8 on 6 1/2". And this is a 13-inch outer diameter hub-and-rotor assembly.
Now inside, you will need bearings and a grease seal. Those bearings and grease seal are not included with this, but on your screen, I am including the bearing and seal information there for you. And you can refer back to this product page if you need that information again after this video. But we do carry those items, the bearings and the seal, here at etrailer if you need them.
