Secure your boat for transport easily and effectively with these tie-down straps, which feature over-the-center lock buckles. Designed to fit over the transoms of boats with either inboard or outboard motors. 900 lbs Max load.

Features:

  • Tie-down strap secures the transom area of your boat to your trailer
  • Over-center buckle ensures a tight, secure fit
  • Convenient design fits transoms with either inboard or outboard motors
  • Heat-treated, vinyl coated hooks

Specs:

  • Strap dimensions: 2" wide x 4' long
  • Safe working load limit (WLL): 300 lbs
  • Maximum load (break strength): 900 lbs
  • Quantity: 2 straps

Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Today we'll be taking a look at the Erickson Transom Tie-Down Straps, part number EM06100. Our transom tie-down is two inches wide and four feet long, so it's going to work with a variety of boat and trailer combinations. It features a nine hundred pound maximum brake strength and a three hundred pound safe working load limit. Our steel hooks are covered in a heat treated vinyl so that it will help protect your boat and trailer finish at the connection points. Both hooks are identical. Now the real work of the tie-down strap is actually being done by our buckle here in the center. Go ahead and release our hook and loop strap there so you can get a good look at it.

It's just a lever style buckle that is going to be easy to release, and then add back in the tension on that strap so that you can keep your boat secure. It features a nice hook and loop keeper for our excess strap. These tie-downs are going to work great whether you have an inboard or outboard motor. Now that we've gone over some features we'll go ahead and show you how we got it setup on our boat. Take one end of the hook, place it to the attachment loop on your boat. The other end will come down to your trailer ...

want to do is gain access to our buckle here. Opening that up all the way allows us to pull out the slack. Once we get that pretty tight, flipping the buckle back down is going to insure that that tension remains in our tie-down. Then with any extra strap we have, just wind that up, secure it with our included hook and loop strap. Just like that our boat is secure. Now with both of our straps secured that is going to complete today's look at the Erickson Transom Tie-Down Straps, part number EM06100..

Lasted about a month and a half.. Had to replaced.. Sorry for your loss, Ill have to go else where.

by:

Great product and great service. Really makes for a clean tie down off the transom. Routing of the strap and the buckle was a little difficult to figure out at first from the description on the box, but etrailer had a good explanation of how to do it.

by:

Product arrived broken.....CANNOT get a response from etrailer to RMA it...
George, you might want to take notice....

Cliff, thanks for your honest review. I see that Brittany has taken care of this issue for you.

by:

These are nice tie downs. Good replacement for my original ties downs that finally ripped. I had to go to youtube for instructions on how to tread the strap.

by:

Good quality product, pretty much what I was looking for. Only issue, no instructions on how to feed the lower strap thru the buckle. It took my son and I about 15 minutes to figure it out. The saving grace was a video on Youtube, which still only helped a little.

Love them. A really good quality strap.

by:

Gave my tie downs to a boater that didn't have any when he pulled his boat out of the water and put it on a trailer. I didn't need mine for another week, so I ordered a replacement set from E-Trailer..... got them quickly as their shipping dept is amazing! Will purchase more when I need them!

terrible. I purchased new tie downs from another company

by:

These are nice straps; I like them because they are specifically designed for a boat. They fit much better than the general ratchet style strap I was using.

straps working great very happy

by:

Great product. Exactly as described

by:

The springs and other trailer parts I picked up are working great! I really appreciate all the help you folks provided when I was ordering, this was my first time refurbishing my trailer and it made it easy, I will definitely be ordering from your company again when the time comes.

by:

Hard to work with. Straps are too flimsy and not firm enough to hang straight while trying to connect. They slipped while trying to secure. They did hold after getting them buckled down and secured. I went back to my rod saver straps. The trailer straps were more expensive than the Rod Saver straps but the rod savers were not available when I needed them.

by:

I ordered this product and when it arrived I put them on my trailer. When I tightened the strap, the rivet on the buckle broke. I called etrailer.com to let them know. I was told that it was probably a mfgr defect and they would send me a new one. Within 3 days I received the new set of straps. I put them on the trailer and they work perfectly. I greatly appreciated the rush delivery and I am totally satisfied with the product and the company. I would definitely use etrailer.com again.

by:

worked as expected. Instructions on package did not inclued how to thread 2nd strap through buckle. However if you watch the video for this strap by etrailer, they talk and demonstrate how to assemble the product. Etrailer always has good videos to assemble or install many of it products, well worth watching which ultimately saves you time. Personally these straps are too long for my needs, but I knew that when I ordered them with the intent to customize them to the length I need and then re-sew the end of the strap.

by:

I like the snap-lock feature much better than a ratchet. But the strap is a little long at 4 feet, and I wish they had a velcro strap so you can roll up the extra and keep it from flapping. Some have that, these do not.

by:

I purchased these tie downs for my 17 /2' boat - they have been in use for a year now and are still working perfectly! I launch and haul the boat out on the trailer frequently and they still look and work as new. I would definitely purchase another set of these if I bought another boat!

by:

All of the products I use on my boat trailer. They are working well and as expected. I had heard good things about etrailer and have not been disappointed. I would continue to purchase items from your store.

by:

Transom tie-downs are everything, plus more, that I was hoping for.
Good quality. Good look.

Spindle washers were correct product. Good price. Prompt ship.

by:

I received my boat straps within a few days(regular shipping). They were top quality and on the boat shortly. Great.

by:

I use them on a large aluminum boat and they have done the job.
