Running wiring front to back can sound intimidating, but this kit keeps it simple. It comes with a 20-foot length of 12-gauge wire to connect straight to the battery, along with plug-in connectors that tie into the factory tail light wiring. No splicing or guessing which wire is which—just plug it in and run the power lead where it needs to go.
Once installed, it gives you a standard 4-flat trailer connector for running lights, brake lights, and turn signals. The solid connection helps ensure clean signal transfer so your lights stay bright and consistent every time you hook up the trailer.

Installed hardware with ease with all supplied new bolts. The electrical package was all pretty much plug and play and easy to install. I wish it came with a mounting bracket for the trailer plug to make it stationary. My only other critique is that the "etrailer.com" sticker is upside down. Great job everyone! Thanks!!
This harness made it easy to connect with the factory brake light system. The only thing I'd say is take your time carefully running the +battery lead. I was able to tie it up along with the fuel and A/C lines on the inside of the frame rail and come up into the underhood area. Everything is still working one year later.
