Your solar panel collects the sunlight, but without the right controller that energy won't charge your battery. The OptiMate Solar DUO manages power from 10W to 60W panels, automatically charging and monitoring your 12V lead-acid or LFP battery.
Solar charging should not require constant checking. The OptiMate Solar DUO automatically adjusts charge output based on battery type and condition. Its multi-step program brings the battery to full charge and then maintains it daily without overcharging. When your solar panel stops producing power, the controller switches to monitor mode and displays battery charge level on the LED panel every 3 seconds.
This controller supports 12V STD, AGM, and GEL lead-acid batteries, as well as 12.8V or 13.2V 4-series Lithium Ferrous Phosphate batteries. It is suitable for lead-acid batteries from 2Ah to 240Ah and LFP batteries within supported voltage range. Important: It is compatible only with 4-cell Lithium Ferrous Phosphate batteries.
The weatherproof controller case is designed for indoor and outdoor use. It converts low solar energy into efficient pulse charging and includes full electronic protection, spark suppression, and automatic shut-down if short-circuited or disconnected. The kit includes the Solar DUO controller, weatherproof battery lead, battery clips, SAE 2-pin connector, and polarity converter for flexible installation.
