Heavy loads can make the back of your vehicle sag and throw off steering, braking, and even headlight aim. The Air Lift 1000 Universal Air Spring Kit adds up to 1,000 lbs of load-leveling support inside your rear coil springs to keep things level and balanced. It takes the strain off your factory suspension, helps reduce tire wear, and improves overall ride stability when hauling or towing.

Different loads need different support. These polyurethane air springs can be inflated or deflated anywhere from 5 psi to 35 psi (for greater than 1" spring pitch) or up to 50 psi (for less than 1" spring pitch), so you can fine-tune ride firmness and height for whatever you’re carrying. Inflate each spring independently with dual air lines to level off-center loads, or keep them equal for balanced support across the rear axle.

Bumps, dips, and sway are part of every tow or haul, but they don’t have to make the ride rough. By adding air support directly inside your coil springs, this kit helps absorb road shock and limits bounce so your vehicle feels more planted on highways and uneven roads. The added stability improves control through curves and when braking under load.
The Air Lift 1000 system installs inside your existing rear coil spring suspension using basic tools. Each kit includes two durable polyurethane air springs, tubing, Schrader valves, heat shields, and mounting hardware. Manual inflation valves can be mounted on the bumper or another convenient spot for easy access, and you can add a compressor system (sold separately) if you want to monitor and adjust pressure on the go.

Hello, neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're looking at the Airlift 1000 Universal Air Spring kit for the rear of your vehicle. Now folks, I wanna point out that if you have already went to our fit guide here at etrailer.com, enter your year, make, and model look for an airbag kit specifically made for your vehicle. That's the number one choice. Now, if you can't find anything for your vehicle, then there are options such as maybe possibly this specific universal kit. But basically what you want to do to know which kit is gonna work for you, again, you're gonna need to take some measurements on the rear coil springs to ensure you're getting the right fit.
So one thing to note up front also is this kit here does not work if you have vehicles with coil over shocks or coil springs with an internal jounce bumper. So if you have any of those, unfortunately there's nothing at this time with Air Springs that would work for you. And that being said, if you don't have those, then what you need to do is unload the vehicle to make sure it's at a normal right height, meaning don't have gear in the trunk, the back area, the bed of the truck, whatever, those kind of things. And then you wanna measure the inside height of your coil spring, which will be from the upper spring seat down to the lower spring seat. And then lastly, you wanna measure the inside diameter of that spring in its widest points.
Now, once you have those measurements, you're gonna want to use etrailer's table that you can find on our page that you're probably on right now. I'll throw an image of it on the screen. Basically, the kit number is gonna match the dimensions that you get. So you've got the minimum diameter in the middle and the maximum height on the far right. Now today the specific kit we're looking at is the 60911, which is in bold right there on the screen.
So in this case, we're gonna go with this kit because that's what the measurements are. So looking into this, you've got the nice airbags here that'll provide 1,000 pounds of load, level, and support. That's gonna improve safety and ride quality, and it's gonna support the existing rear coil spring suspension system while you're hauling or just towing your stuff. Now it's gonna keep your vehicle level and it's gonna make sure that your steering and braking performance and your headlight aim is gonna be back to an OEM height and performance. It's gonna help reduce tire wear on the OEM suspension and all that kind of stuff.
And it's gonna diminish sway and absorb a lot of that road shock. And that in turn is gonna improve the stability and also the ride quality, which most of the time, that's why you're getting Air Springs in the first place. You want a better ride quality while you're towing, right Now, the neat thing is you can inflate or deflate these independently of each other, meaning let's say my left side's a little bit stiffer than the right, or I need it that way. You can simply inflate one more or less the other side. Now you're gonna get everything you see here with this universal kit. The two air springs, you're gonna get four of these spacer blocks and the air tubing, the shrader valves, all the caps, nuts, the T valve, everything, the heat shields, the mounting radiator style clamps, all that stuff's included. This is a manual inflation kit, so if you do want to upgrade and get like an air compressor and that kind of stuff to be able to do it remotely or on the fly, that's sold separately. Now, as far as the adjustable air pressure with this kit, it's greater than one inch on your spring pitch, or if you have greater than one inch of spring pitch, you get between five PSI to 35 PSI. If you have less than one inch of spring pitch on your cool springs, you'll get five to 50 PSI. It has an amazing lifetime limit warranty from Air Lift themselves. If you have any issues, they'll take care of it. And that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look at this Air Lift 1000 universal air springing kit for the rear of your vehicle. I'm Steven, thanks so much for watching.

They installed, they work & the customer service was good.
its been a year of using the lift kit on the Jeep Wrangler Rubi (4door). no issues. did replace the clips with tighter fitting clips.
not much else to say. works as advertised.
The airlift system works very well. I installed a leveling kit on my truck. Even with a small load in the bed of my truck, the truck showed sag. With the airbags, I can inflate to the desired height before I load the bed and it doesn't appear to squat!
This air spring kit leveled our RAV4 just the right amount. We towed a LivinLite 8.1 all over the western US with no issues. The install takes a bit of effort (and do be sure to measure carefully if using a universal fit), but once in it was easy to set the pressure and I had no troubles with leaking. I ran the air valve to the side of the hitch to keep it out of the way.
The ride has changed so much! I love it.
What a great product, I use one of these kits,I don’t know 10 years ago and thought I would come back to the company because they provided such a good quality 10 years ago and again it never fails. Put them in my grand Cherokee yesterday. And they are working perfectly today. Great product perfect. They sent extra stuff with it that I didn’t even need which is always a nice touch. Thanks for making such a wonderful product.
I want to thank you very much for the help on fitting the correct air lift bag for my mopar lifted wrangler. I spent countless hours searching the web unsuccessfully for the information you provided. The new listing you added on your site for fitment of these air bags will undoubtedly help many customers the same as it helped me. etrailer has been my go to site for many of the items needed for an offroad teardrop camper build I'm working on that is towed by the wrangler, and again you guys came through for me. There aren't many suppliers on the web that offer the assistance you have. I will continue to recommend etrailer to people I know and meet that want a supplier with excellent service to the customer.
Thanks again!
This is the second time I have ordered different items from etrailer and each time people that helped me have been extraordinary. I wish I saved their names to thank them personally. I waited to write this review because I had to wait to have my Air Lift 1000 kit installed. I am as satisfied with the results as I am with your employees. I will definitely order from etrailer again and will highly recommend you to everyone I know.
Works great , I put a Bluetooth compressor with it.
I haven’t installed yet, however Kevin took care of me when I ordered the wrong kit. He immediately sent out the correct kit and I received it in time for our trip. I will be installing this today and I know this is going to be an excellent product.
Used this along with a controller kit to add helper bags to my 2014 Q5 TDI. A year later and it is working perfectly. Helps with the teeter tottering and stability when towing close to the maximum capacity.
They work great they stopped the SAG
Kit very easy to install. Great videos for help. Works great.
