Added roof height matters when your rack sits above parking garages, branches, or loaded accessories. The platform measures 1-3/4" tall and includes a detachable wind fairing, reducing added height while cutting wind noise and drag on highway drives.
Extra rack layers add height before any gear is loaded. RX legs attach to flush rails, and spacer blocks attach to the legs to level the platform, giving your roof a direct-mounted cargo surface that sits ready for loading.
Roof loads change from trip to trip, and fixed baskets limit where accessories land. Integrated channels in the planks and frame accept Rhino-Rack accessories (sold separately), including awnings, light brackets, shovel holders, and spare tire carriers, keeping your setup open for different cargo jobs.
Loaded camping gear and trail cargo put your rack surface in regular contact with straps, brackets, and outdoor equipment. Powder coated aluminum frame construction with reinforced nylon connectors adds scuff resistance, keeping the platform working through loaded off-road trips.

So far so good. Installed the rack on my 2019 Lexus lx 570. Not many options for something that will mount to the factory rails. Rack seems sturdy and secure. Looking forward to using all of the platform accessories.
