The Pioneer Platform gives you a big, flat surface for loading up whatever adventure calls for. At 59" long and 49" wide, there’s plenty of room for hauling everything from camping gear to extra luggage or tools. Unlike traditional crossbars, you’re not limited by small contact points—this rack spreads the load evenly across a sturdy aluminum frame that’s built for off-road use and tested for Australian conditions.
When the road gets bumpy, a solid rack makes all the difference. The Pioneer Platform uses a powder-coated aluminum frame and reinforced nylon connectors to stay rigid and secure under demanding conditions. The tough materials resist scuffs and corrosion, keeping your setup reliable trip after trip. It’s built to handle dirt, weather, and vibration without compromise.
No one likes a noisy roof rack on highway runs. The low-profile shape of the Pioneer Platform keeps air moving smoothly over the top of your vehicle, reducing drag and wind noise. The detachable wind fairing helps keep things quiet and efficient so long drives feel more relaxed and fuel use stays in check.
This platform is made to adapt to whatever gear you want to carry. Integrated channels in the planks and frame fit a wide variety of accessories like awnings, light brackets, shovel holders, or spare tire carriers (all sold separately). If you want to run wiring for your lights or power gear, it can be routed internally through the perimeter of the platform for a clean setup. Accessory bars (RR33AP - sold separately) let you mount kayak carriers, cargo boxes, or other roof rack gear whenever you need them.
The platform mounts securely using included ditch brackets that create permanent fixed points on your roof. Quick Mount legs attach to those brackets, and spacer blocks level the platform so it sits right where it should. The system includes 1 platform, 4 legs, 4 ditch brackets, and 4 base wedges along with a torque tool set—everything needed for a precise fit and solid installation.

Have a 2019 Nv3500. Work’s absolutely perfect. Mounted right up to stock brackets. Holds two kayaks and extras for trips.
First of all congratulations to E-Trailer on the shipping. I ordered my pioneer platform and the full rail kit at the same time. The rail kit was not in stock and had to be shipped from the manufacturer. Worried that the shipment might not make it time for my upcoming desert trip, I called etrailer and voiced my concerns. Long story short, I was given a ship date that wouldn’t have given me much time for the install and I ended up getting it four days earlier. Super easy to install and very strong. I’ll have to give a follow up review after I put it work in the coming weeks.
