Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Hello, neighbors. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our SmartStraps ratchet-style tie-down straps with S-hooks on both ends, 1 inch wide by 14 feet long, rated at 500 pounds safe working load limit. Now that being said, the maximum load brake strength is 1,500 pounds, but again, that safe working load limit is 500 pounds. So never exceed 500 pounds. Now getting into it, these are a light-duty strap.
They're gonna let you secure cargo in your pickup truck bed or trailer. They're gonna be great for maybe hauling mowers, tillers, ATVs, other light equipments, and the ratcheting system makes it super easy to tighten and then loosen up the tension and everything and use. I went ahead and put one together here today, just so you can kind of see. I've got it through the slot here. And as you can see, I can pull it one way or another to tighten or loosen it.
(ratchet rattling) Now that I got it tight, it's not going through anymore. If I wanna loosen it, I simply pull on the spring lever here, fold it flat, and now I can pull one way or the other and get that loose again. So, very simple to use, very simple to operate. You got rubberized covers on the ends here. You got the nylon cover on the S-hook itself, and again, you got an impressive 14 feet, as you can see, falling off my table here.
You have 14 foot of strap here, which is very impressive. It's a very nice long length. It's gonna give you optimal tie-down trailers and those kind of things. Well, folks, I think that is gonna wrap it up for our quick look today. It is a high-visibility green polyester SmartWeb, so it's stronger and more abrasive-resistant than your standard webbing.
And again, everything here is a nice strong 500 pound rated. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.

Weak webbing. Very easily wears down and rubs apart. A rough rounded lip of a barrel rubbed it in half.
Package was damaged in shipping. The plastic housing the straps arrived in was broken and crushed due to poor packing. Straps themselves was not damaged.
Your average ratchet straps. Will be happy to get a year or 2 of use out of them
Delivered on time as always. I have not used them yet to leave a review on the actual function and quality.
just what I needed and reasonably priced - does the job.
