Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.
This tie-down kit includes 2 ratchet straps that are perfect for strapping down your motorcycle, dirt bike, ATV, or heavy-duty construction or farming gear to your truck bed or trailer. Commercial-grade, field-replaceable ratchets make it simple to tighten down each strap. To release the ratchet, you can grab the oversized handle and easily pull on the release lever, even if you're wearing gloves, as the release lever is on the outside of the ratchet.
Unlike traditional straps, which don't stretch or contract, these tie-downs have built-in, urethane shock absorbers that maintain constant tension on your bike so you won't have to stop and tighten them while traveling. These shocks are designed to absorb the impact of traveling on rough roads and allow give to ensure the straps won't loosen over time, which could result in lost or damaged gear. They also ensure a longer life for the strap webbing, as they make sure the tie-downs stay put and won't wear over the edges of your gear.
A safety strap is also built into each tie-down to provide peace of mind should something happen to the shock. This safety strap ensures that if the tie-downs are used improperly, overloaded, or unduly stretched, your bike or ATV will remain secured.

Hello neighbors, I'm Steven here at etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the ShockStrap Ratchet Tie Down Straps with built-in shock absorbers. Now these are one inch by 10 feet long. They have a safe working load limit of 500 pounds per strap and a maximum break strength or load strength of 1500 pounds per strap. Now these ratchet straps are gonna let you secure like a motorcycle, dirt bike, or ATV, that kind of stuff into the truck bed or on your trailer. And you do have these very nice built-in shock absorbers that are red.
And I'll go ahead and zoom in and show you those right quick. So these built-in shock absorbers. As you can see, they do have some flex to 'em and that's gonna help absorb any kind of shock on the road and all that. But whenever you get this ratcheted down and you actually tighten this to where there's no gap in that bottom loop, then they're actually, that's when you kinda know that they're tight enough to be used. It's made of a urethane based material.
It stands up to salt water, oil, fungi, and most chemicals. Now, the ratchet mechanism itself, it makes it really easy to tighten down on each strep. Got a nice pull tab here. You got a hard plastic over the finger pull. Then if you get your strap in there, you just wind it up and release it, pull the finger pull, flatten it back out, and then you can pull to loose.
Now it does have a backup safety strap that keeps the gear secure, even if the tie downs are overloaded. And that's this guy back here built into this. So it's got two pieces of webbing here. If one we inchesre to break, the other one here should still be in good working order. Now, the S hook, folks, talking about them, they're heavy duty hardened steel.
They have a plastic coating or rubber coating over the S hook itself and a nice spring loaded retention clip here. That way when you hook on stuff, it's not falling back off too easy. Now it's made of a durable UV resistant polymer webbing. So it's got very good stitching. Let me zoom in here on that. So you can see here at the end, you got the double stitching and everything. And on the regular strap itself, you've got the very nice stitching there that's gonna give you the durability and everything that you're looking for. Now again, everything here that you see that's steel, that yellowish color, that's a yellow zinc chromate coating. It's very corrosion resistant, and it's also DOT approved, and these are made in the USA. So again, folks, you get two straps with purchase, two year warranty, one inch wide, 10 inch long. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
