Hello, neighbors. I'm Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the Gorilla Ratchet Straps with S-Hooks. These guys are one and a half inch wide by 14 feet long. Now they do have a safe working load limit of 1,667 pounds, while their maximum load or brake strength is 5,000 pounds. Now these are gonna be great for ratcheting down things like your ATVs, lawnmowers, side-by-sides, even a personal watercraft or a boat or something like that.

Now, the strap handle itself and the whole mechanism is a very, very nice heavy duty powder coated steel, and it's also gonna make it really easy to tighten down the straps and maintain tension. One of the first things I wanna show you here, I wanna zoom into the straps themselves. They are made of a thick polyester webbing with a PVC coated edge, and you can see that black stitching there. They also have an additional layer there, and that helps prevent, you know, threaded breaking and that kind of stuff on the edges whenever you're strapping over edges and items like that. Now, the ratchet mechanism themselves, again, very heavy duty, steady design.

Simple ergonomic, handheld, everything. That way you can pull it back. The plastic on the handle gives you a better grip. You got some rubber on the outside here, different spots to help grip it better. And if you can see, it's got included D-ring on it.

That D-ring, and then there's also some on the straps themselves. That's a nice feature. You could technically slide that all the way down, per the manufacturer. If you didn't have something to anchor to, you could wrap this around one side maybe, and the other side doesn't have a point. Then the other strip that comes through could technically ratchet to this and give you an anchor point when you don't have one available.

Now, one cool feature I like is the S-hooks themselves are a hardened steel, and they're not gonna bend, break, or flex on you. But these orange safety caps that are a heavy duty plastic. You can put that on whenever you're trying to tie down. Put this cap on and now it's holding in place. So when you're walking around the trailer and this thing usually falls off because you didn't have enough tension or something, now it can spin 360. It's not gonna fall off whatever you have it hooked on. Again, folks, these are one and a half inch wide by 14 feet long, and I went ahead and left them all wrapped up here because I'm not gonna be able to fit 14 foot on a small table here. Now they have a nice one year warranty. And as I mentioned, it also comes with this nice, water resistant hard shell case. Comes with a nice two piece here. You can put all the straps back inside of here whenever you're done. And put the other guy in here. And obviously you can wrap them up a little cleaner. I'm just kind of doing this for demo purposes. But once you've got them all wrapped up clean and tight, I promise you this lid will fit on and it'll snap place, and then you can just toss them in your cargo area or the toolbox.
