Adco SFS AquaShed Cover Installed

You're worried about your travel trailer getting wet and dirty in storage before your next camping trip. Whether you're storing your trailer in the rainy northwest, snowy north, or humid south, this weather-resistant cover is designed for use in extremely wet climates so your trailer will be protected. When you keep your trailer covered, you are less likely to need to wash and wax it in between trips. And if you want to trade your trailer in for a newer model later down the road, this cover will help maintain that resale value.

Adco SFS AquaShed Cover Material

The 3-ply SFS AquaShed top panel reduces moisture buildup that can damage your trailer over time. It also beads water when it rains to stop it from pooling or freezing, which eliminate the black streaks and corrosion you tend to see on the sides and roof of your trailer. And when the rain stops, the fabric dries quickly to minimize the development of mold and mildew. The top panel blocks the roof of your trailer from mild sunlight as well, protecting the cover from cracking and fading.

How to Measure Your Travel Trailer

Measuring Your Travel Trailer

To determine if this cover will work for you, measure the overall length of your trailer from the very front to the rear bumper, making sure you're accounting for any spare tire carriers and ladders on the back. The cover isn't meant to fit over the tongue of your trailer, so don't include it in your measurements. Then measure the overall height from the bottom of your trailer to the top. Do not include any AC units, vents, or antennas in your height measurement, as the cover is already designed to accommodate them.

Securing the Cover onto Your Travel Trailer

Adco SFS AquaShed Straps

The included ladder cap and rain gutter covers help prevent the cover from splitting on those areas of the trailer, so install those first. Then unroll the cover and carefully spread it evenly around your trailer, making sure you don't pull too hard and tear the fabric. The cover is labeled with "front" and "rear" to help you position the cover correctly on your RV.

Wrap the elasticized hem around the bottom corners of your trailer and pull on the cinch ropes on the front and rear of the cover. These remove any excess slack in the material, especially if your trailer is slightly shorter in length. Then toss the weighted straps underneath your trailer to the other side and buckle them together, which keep the cover secure on your trailer and prevents it from flapping in the wind and damaging the paint job.

Adco SFS AquaShed Zippered Access Door

And if you still need to winterize or access one of the cargo compartments, you can use the zippered panels on the passenger's side to easily access the interior of your trailer without having to completely remove the cover.

The cover is working out great. Seams are good and the material is holding up well. I definitely will buy this again in the future.

by:
I would have liked the top portion to be made with more durable material. The Velcro strips aren’t high enough to hold the rolled up portion by the door so the soreness and closes easily. And the bottom of the zipper section should be continuous all the way around. It makes the cover more likely to blow around in the wind if the zippered section is rolled up. Just not as durable all around as my previous ADCO cover. But it will have to do for now. Hoping it lasts 5 years.

Without a doubt the best cover I've found for my e-Pro f19 travel trailer. It fits like a custom cover and the price was extremely reasonable. Best features: Four snug-fit corners (just like bed sheets); at least seven (?) tightening straps underneath the unit which means you can safely tighten and secure against brisk winds; two flaps/straps across both the front and back of trailer, again securing against wind. And the smallest pieces are my favorite ... two weighted straps that help you toss each of the straps underneath to the other side! Brilliant! You will see a "bump" along the back end of the RV and that's where the ladder is covered. The roof covering fits well but with enough room to accommodate the ladder, a/c, bathroom vent, and antennae. I've told my camping friend about this cover and this web site. I check here first when I need anything for my RV. Thank you!

After surviving a Nebraska winter with several days of wind with gusts over 50mph+, I can wholeheartedly recommend this ADCO SFS AquaShed RV cover. It fit my 2018 Jayco Hummingbird 17RB travel trailer. With multiple straps running under the trailer, there was minimal flapping even in the strongest gusts.

Received my order (Adco SFS AquaShed Cover for Travel Trailer - Up to 18' - Long - Gray) by way of UPS. It was lighter than I expected, which is a good thing because heavy things are a challenge for me. I took it out to the trailer to install, but first I removed my radio antenna and covered my TV antenna with a cardboard box in order to prevent damage to either them or the cover. Next, I proceeded to drag it atop the trailer. I probably should have waited until I could find someone to help me because I am 78 years old and partially disabled, but I was able to get it installed with the help of a couple of quality stepladders. None of the installation was exceedingly difficult, and I was completely finished in a couple of hours. Two or three people could have it done in about a half hour. I was able to attach the straps underneath by using an automotive creeper because my trailer is on a concrete pad.
I am totally pleased with the cover. The zippers on the passenger side have already given me access to the inside of the trailer several times. Customer service at etrailer has been superb.
The accompanying photo is on a 27°F night with two small space heaters in the trailer. All water is drained out. Snug as a bug in a rug.
by:
This cover is fantastic and fits my unit perfectly. It was easy to install and get secured. My camping trailer is a Micro Mini 17ft long and when you add the front tow which houses the 2 batteries and 2 propane tanks it makes the total length 20ft. This cover actually covers the entire 20ft so nothing is exposed.

Niiice! We're glad to hear that the cover fit your camper well!

by:
It's fall and I've already winterized my trailer, so I wanted to take the extra step and protect it from the elements over the winter. So far so good, was able to get the 15-18' cover on my 15' bunkhouse, with extra to go over the hitch and jack. easy to set up the first time - just follow the directions which come with this cover and you're set. we've already had a couple rains since i installed this week, and the water beads off. Happy with this purchase!

I've had this cover for almost 2 years. So far its held up great over two Colorado winters. When I bought it, I actually needed the 16' and when I ordered it, eTrailer didn't have it in stock (their site said they did). I worked with customer service and they sent me the 18' since I needed it before the snow flew. Thank you!
by:
The first Adco cover i’ve bought was about 10 years ago was for my Winnebago motorhome which was of excellent quality. The latest cover that I just purchased was for an 18 foot travel trailer it also is of excellent quality and value it fit perfectly and I do mean perfectly very easy to put on has plenty of straps and made of quality material. My experiences with Atco covers I have to say is first rate.
by:
This is my second purchase of this cover,
We are pleased with the durability and fit.
The first cover lasted 3years and would have went longer but we had some high winds that ripped the seam.
by:
My husband just put the cover on, the trailer is in a tight spot, with little room to work with. He said, it was the easiest cover to put on our 2020 Geo-Pro 18'.It fit like a glove and since we get a lot of wind he loved the amount of straps that were easy to access. It has a wide zipper area on the side to access the door. He was pleased with the quality of the material and with the price.
by:
I am very satisfied with this cover for its cost.  We had the same one three years ago and it was destroyed by our backyard squirrel population that lived in the tree it was parked under.  Well now we have a paved drive away from the tree so we ordered another one.  The model was the same but in the last three years the company has made some additional features that improve the quality and durability over the earlier one. It is made for a small range of sizes but we were able to tighten the fit with the adjustable straps to get a good snug fit.  My only suggestion would be if the side flap zipper went a little higher so that it would clear our door for occasional access it would be more convenient.
by:
Wife and I just put it on earlier tonight. It slipped on without a hitch.
I did need to use my step ladder to make sure nothing snagged up top (antenna) and it slid quite nicely over the top of our 179 R-Pod.
Lori put the wheel and tire covers on with no trouble at all for a great fit.
Thank you Stacey for your first rate customer service and hooking us up with just what we needed to keep our home away from home perfect.
Sincerely
John P

Sadly to say cover did not withstand the sun exposure causing a tear down the middle while weathering
A wind storm, my previous cover lasted about 2 1/2 years so I decided on reordering for a third time hoping that I ca get a better durability on this latest purchase. Unfortunately I did not take pictures so I have nothing to show. Truly I thought that the warranty did not cover this type of damage so I did not submit
A claim. Other the that I’m overall pleased with my experience in dealing with etrailer
Thanks!

I bought a used trailer with obvious water rot in the back corner. It was cheap enough where I plan to just get a couple years out of it while it falls apart. The peace of mind that I have had while storing it over Winter with this ADCO cover has been immeasurable. It was easy to self apply and still have access to the unit with the zippers on the door side. The ventilation flaps have let me keep the windows cracked to reduce the excess moisture (and make the water damage worse) it's held up in Missouri tornado season remarkably well with all of the straps that run underneath the carriage. One of the best insurance investments I've made for this POS trailer.

Well I finally got the trailer cover installed. It appears to be a quality built item, looks good, fits well. As far as durability time will tell. I am very impressed.
by:
The cover for my Winnebago Micro Minnie went on very well for a nice fit. The top front buckle would not click and stay together so I gently spread the plastic apart for it to click in. The clips could be better built to use. Definitely used the extra cloth for sharp edges. Overall, good so far!
by:
Perfect fit on my imagine aim 16ml. Good price and fast shipping
by:
Having a cover for the trailer gives us peace of mind, knowing that we are protecting our investment from the harsh sun. I only would like a smaller size for our small travel trailer which is just under 19' The door opening is cumbersome so we're not able to freely move in and out as I would like. However, I'm pleased with the product and recommend it to others.

This product works great! Because of the heat and gutter corners there have been a few small tears which were easily patched. I’ve noticed a small amount of dust from the cover too. But all in all a great purchase.

by:
thank you for checking back on this. One of the things I knew going into this cover was that Kimberly Clark is a toilet paper company. I have used car covers from them and the product seems to be a mixture of cloth and paper. I have had to have it repaired a couple of times from the straps tearing off and yet I am happy with the cover. I think it would be better if they put flaps with brass eyelets along the bottoms of both sides, like they did in the front and the back to take up tension that the user could simply use an adjustable bungee cord took the left side to the right side under the trailer, it will be very quick and easy instead of trying to find a place on the trailer to connect it. I'm not sure if this makes sense to you but essentially maybe four or five brass rings on a reinforced flap on each side that could beconnected to the adjacent side and adjustable cord. That would be perfect as far as my first winter and snow load and wind. It did well.
by:
I really liked the fit and easy to put on. The material is light and breathable, and I was pleased with its protection over the winter. It did however show some wear in the sharper corners and edges where the siding meets the frame and at fender well corners. My solution with this was to trim out pool noodles for those areas. Also, I would forego the gutter pockets that are included. They are difficult to keep on. My solution was tennis balls for the gutter spouts. I gave this cover an excellent rating even considering the few mods. The reason being, I ordered the lighter weight lower priced model because that's what I needed. It has performed well for what I needed and the value for the buck was inline. Overall.. great quality and product.
by:
After one year of weather a the mid-south where the summers are brutal this cover has held up very well. While not waterproof it does a good job of repelling rain and has kept the pollen and dust from accumulating in every window and door. The top shows the most wear. With an 8" snow storm and a 5 degree freeze I thought it would not hold up but it is still sheading leaves and blocking sun. The fit for our Lance 1685 was just about perfect but there was still some room at the front of the cover so I think there would be some slack for an 18' rig. The zipper locations are perfect for accessing the camper and the fast clips and straps keep the cover in place. For the money this is an excellent buy and I would recommend it to anyone.
by:
The cover held up well after one snowy Minnesota winter. It is much easier to put on with 2 people and a ladder. The weighted Buckle Toss Under is very helpful! The large storage bag was useful to store the cover during the warmer months. While it is a bit large for my 17' camper, it kept out the elements just fine. One thing that could be improved is the storage of the straps. They are long, and there is a small "envelope" to tuck them into... but they don't stay there. Overall, it was a good purchase to keep my old camper sheltered from the snowy Minnesota winters.
by:
2007 GMC Yukon XL
I bought the cover 18 months ago with a 2-year warranty. The second winter it was badly shredded due to above-average winds in Illinois. (not a tornado or anything, just a windier-than-average winter), As advised, I had covered sharp points on the trailer to protect the cover; those areas were not a problem. So the product itself didn't meet my expectations and I would have rated it lower except for etrailer's excellent warranty coverage. In one phone call they readily acknowledged the warranty and offered to send a new replacement. I did have to ship the old cover back, which I understand. I received the new cover about 10 days after mailing back the old one. I should get 1 or 2 more winters out of the replacement!

  • Which Storage Cover For 2022 Sunset Park RV Sun Lite 16BH & 18RD Travel Trailers
Hi Gina, I looked up the Sunset Park RV Sun Lite travel trailers and it looks like there is a 16BH and 18RD, but no 16RD. So I'm not 100% sure what you have but I'll go ahead and give you options for both. I like the Adco covers for their overall quality, and as far the right fit, that just depends on the length of the body of the trailer. Per Sun Lite RV, the 2022 Sunset Park RV Sun Lite 16BH measures 16'6" overall, but that includes the tongue so we'll subtract 3' from it because the...

  • Adco AquaShed Cover for Riverside 176s Retro Travel Trailer
To determine the proper fit, measure the length (not including the trailer tongue) and sidewall height (undercarriage to the top of the natural roof line). Please determine the exact length of your specific trailer to confirm, but from information available to me your camper is 19 feet in overall length. I suggest the Adco SFS AquaShed Cover, # 290-52239. This is designed for travel trailers 15'1" - 18' long and has one of our highest customer reviews.

This cover is designed for your 18 foot trailer and is constructed of fabric that is designed to bead water...
