Keeping your steering centered shouldn’t be a fight. The Reflex Steering Stabilizer uses a tempered steel spring that constantly works to hold your steering in line. When you steer one way, the spring resists just enough to bring everything back to center once you let go. It tightens up steering feel and cuts out that drifting or wandering that happens on uneven or grooved pavement.
Crosswinds, rut tracking, or even a tire failure can shove you off course in a split second. This stabilizer ties the steering mechanism to the chassis so the spring can pull or push the system back to neutral when things get rough. You’ll feel the vehicle return to center instead of being yanked around, helping you stay calm and in control.
When you’re not constantly correcting the wheel, your drive gets easier. The stabilizer keeps steering firm and centered so you can relax your grip and keep a steady line. It turns what used to be a tiring trip into a smoother, more controlled drive without the constant wobble or correction.
You don’t need to cut or weld anything to get this setup in place. The kit includes the stabilizer, custom mounting brackets, and all necessary hardware for a straightforward bolt-on install. It’s designed to be secure, easy to fit, and ready to make a difference in about an hour.

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a looks at Roadmaster's reflex steering stabilizer with mounting brackets for class A motor homes. You'll want to verify in our fit guide which part number fits your inaudible 00:00:10.Now we're taking a drive without our steering stabilizer installed so we can compare the differences. Right now you can see there, when I hit bumps, you can see the wheel jerk. Once we get our stabilizer installed, that will help minimize those jerks in the steering wheel. What this means for you, is you're going to have more control over your vehicle, as well as it's going to reduce fatigue when driving down the road, because you're not going to have to fight to hold it straight like you we're before. As we head into our test course here, you're going to notice as we go over the various terrains, car's steering wheel's going to react. We're going to start with something that will simulate uneven pavement.
You can really see here how it jerks the wheel. Now you have to fight it to keep it straight. Next, we're going to be going over something that's going to simulate potholes or speed bumps. You can see how it still jerks the wheel, but not as bad as our uneven pavement did. Another think you'll notice is that when you're turning, on some of them back country roads, your steering wheel will return to center, but we'll see how much more our stabilizer's going to make a difference in bringing our vehicle straight for us.
As of right now, it continues to turn left and is not straightening out.Once we get our steering stabilizer installed, we'll show you the difference. You can already tell when we go over our bumps, our steering wheel doesn't move nearly as much as it used to. It's much easier to maintain control. We come around our turns, you see we let go of the wheel and it immediately bring our steering wheel back to center. Unlike before, where our wheel kept at an angle and our RV just went right around in a circle all by itself.
Here we can let go and watch it return. Now, as you can see when we're turning, you'll see our spring expand and contract. It pulls our steering back to center. You can see here as we go over bumps, the dampener bringing our steering back to center right away. What this really means for you, is it's going to help reduce driver fatigue by keeping the steering wheel straight, returning to center, doing a lot of the work for you. It's going to give you an overall more stable ride by keeping that wheel straight.
You're going to feel safer and more confident going down the road. This is what our steering stabilizer's going to look like when it's installed. It's going to mount between your tie rod and your front axle. It's going to help keep your vehicle in a straight line going down the road. This will help reduce driver fatigue, because you won't have to fight that back and forth motion while going down the road. It will also help stabilize your vehicle, making for a safer trip. This works using the large spring installed on the shock. As it expands and contracts, it's going to want to return to its normal position. Since we have it installed with our wheels in a straight line, it's going to try to bring those wheels back to a straight line. The shock inside of it is going to help absorb those impacts in the road, so if you hit any potholes or uneven terrain, that's actually going to help dampen it, making so you don't have so much of a jarring motion up on the steering wheel inside the vehicle. The spring is made of a tempered steel, so it's going to be durable and last a long time. It has a rust resistant coating on it as well to help extend the life. This will help improve the safety of your motor home, especially on those long trips, because of high crosswinds that you may encounter in certain areas, uneven rough terrain, and in the even of a blowout it will help you maintain control so you can safely pull over. It comes with all the hardware you need to get it installed. There's no drilling required and it's a really easy quick install. Our customer William J. Had to say, "Our Winny Brave experienced violent front end oscillation at three different times; after driving over diagonal rail road tracks on two occasions and once again after a pothole I had the front end aligned and it needed it. The shop recommended the steering damper to remedy the oscillation problem. I drove the unit 36 miles without the addition of the damper and handling was improved, but it still drifted and changed directions with road surface changes. I have put another 36 miles on the unit since the damper addition and I can feel the change. The steering feels rock steady with no side to side drift or direction change, even some over some of our local rough roads. We are planning a trip that will take us back over the diagonal railroad tracks and I can't wait to see if the violent oscillation is gone for good. Initial indications are that the problem is cure."William J.'s right. I could tell a major difference just driving around on our test course here and the few moments we had with it. Compared to other suspension enhancements out there, such as sway bars and air bags, none of those are really going to achieve the same level of stability that this is on your steering when going over bumps. Those are going to be great to help prevent sway and other things, but not for that direction of center that this is going to bring back. That complete our look at Roadmaster's reflex steering stabilizer with mounting brackets for class A motor homes.

Have not received it
Easy to install and amazingly smooth driving
No more fighting to keep it centered in the road.
Took about 40 minutes to install and immediately felt the difference in control!
This is a must have item for your driving comfort! No more swerving and drifting!
Excellent work
Great help with videos
My order was delivered quickly, just like my last order. No problems !
Great Service and a pretty easy install, concidering that theres not much room to work with under a express 2500, Wheel is centered and no pull.
Thank you for the Help
Really made a difference in the handling and tracking of our 24ft class C especially in windy conditions.
I haven’t mounted it yet but I have to compliment the superior service that I have always received from etrailer. Fast service and good pricing and quality products!
Still getting blown off the road when passed by an 18 wheeler
Before I added the stabilizer my Jayco motorhome handled like a boat on the ocean but now I can drive with one hand
Very easy to install, all parts needed were included. Stopped sway / push from the wind and tractor and trailers. Just follow the instructions.
Excellent product, excellent service, I am extremely pleased with how much better my motorhome handles on the road
WHAT a difference. It is night and day. The RV manufacturer's make these chassis a bit unstable with all the weight and while under the chassis max we had a lot of play in our steering even after a alignment. This made all the difference in the world. I HIGHLY recommend!
Installed and so far seems ok will find out if difference in 2weeks when we take motor Home out for first trip.
eTrailer was very helpful in determining the correct steering stabilizer for my Class C but delivered item a full week ahead of projected delivery date.
Product was better than described. Very sturdy construction. Very easy to install.
My Class B Motor Home begins with a Chevy Express Extended Chassis. The front end began to shake almost uncontrollably after applying the brakes or when it hit a pothole. There was improvement after replacing all four tires and brake rotors but not nearly enough. After installation of the Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer the shaking was almost completely eliminated.
Easy installation and works great! As a dvertised.
We have driven about 3,400 miles since the Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer install. I can honestly say it has made a significant difference in the handling of our Class C RV. Before installing the Stabilizer the RV steering felt like it wanted to drift one way or the other depending on road conditions. This is no longer the case. Much less work to steer.

I still feel this has helped a lot. High winds will be an issue with almost all motor homes. Under normal or 65 or less mph traffic I feel less hassle in steering.
Improved the handling but was just barely able to fit it on my Chevy Express 4500 chassis with a little modification to the bracket.
It took me about an hour to install the RM stabilizer and was surprised that no adjustment was needed after the test drive. I had to call back e Trailer to get torgue specs since it was not included in the package. Overall a great investment my van drives a lot better particularly on the freeway.

The stabilizer still works as it should. I have taken my van to trails and still drives straight on the highway. Again I think this is one of the best upgrade I made to the van and surprised the eTrailer have such product when dealers or specialty shops dont even carry it.

The steering stabilizer bar is going to help with tightening up the steering but not really help with the crosswinds on the highway. What you need is an anti-sway kit like these: https:www.etrailer.comswaybars-2016_Coachmen_Concord+Motorhome.htm?style=4500+-+Class+C+or+Emergency+Vehicle+Cutaway&furl=-pt-Rear Please note that one of them DOES NOT fit with auto chains and one does, depending on your application.
