Features to know about

Fits Where Taller Toilets Can't

seated DOM24FR

Some RV bathrooms are just built different. If your toilet sits on a raised platform or you're working with limited headroom, the Dometic 301 offers a low-profile option that bolts on easily and fits where taller models won't. Even with its compact height, the seat feels like what you're used to at home - comfortable and familiar.

Lightweight and Simple, But Still Gets It Done

The all-polypropylene build keeps things light, but the 301 still delivers where it counts. A triple-jet rinse system swirls water around most of the bowl using just 1 pint per flush. It's not fancy, but it gets the job done and saves water along the way.

Measure to Fit

RV toilet rough in measurement

To make sure this toilet fits your RV, measure from the wall to the center of the floor flange. This is the rough-in measurement and you'll need at least 8-3/4" for a proper fit. If your current toilet is still installed, you can measure from the wall to the mounting bolts for a good estimate of the flange location. Just keep in mind that an offset flange or a 4-bolt toilet can throw off this measurement, so if you're not sure, removing the old toilet is the best way to double-check before you order.

Very professional service from my phone call about the product to delivery. Very pleased with the quality of the product. Plan on ordering more from this company.

by:

Installation was a snap, with all necessary hardware supplied. Definitely a higher quality product than what it replaced.

The Dometic RV toilet works perfect in our Transit camper. I purchased a fiberglass toilet/shower pan with a 10 gallon black water tank and ran the waste water line through the floor to the underside of the van with a "pull" open/close valve in the van to drain the tank into the campground disposal site. The set-up works perfectly and the toilet is very light (weight wise) as well as structurally strong. I separately emailed a couple pics. Thank you for a great product at a reasonable price!!

Works great in our camper, we’ve been camping a few times and it is perfect. Sending a pic back to your email.

It's not as sturdy as I would like. You cannot replace the seat for a slow close.

Video instructions, measurements, and description were on point! Got my delivery in 2 Day!!!!!

Great service by Josh!

Decent improvement from my previous toilet that had a "space" between bowl and black tank that then created cleaning and odor problems. This toilet model solved that. Found the problem when cleaning up a used TT I had bought. This model is all plastic, so if you sit on the toilet seat lid like I do, to clean my shower, its very thin. Overall I am happy with it since my Lance 1575 needs to be very light weight.

etrailer has always been a "go-to" source for many things but you sure dropped the ball with this RV Toilet.
It didn't arrive in its original box. See photos. The toilet has a dent in the side of it. It was filthy and had apparently been sitting on a shelf some where. More photos. I'm not sure it wasn't a returned item from someone's previous purchase and I hope it works when I install it because if it doesn't you are going to get it back!
Can't believe y'all actually boxed the thing up that way and shipped it in that condition.

I purchased this for my mother and stepfather's van conversion.
The old one was leaking and had to be replaced. We were having trouble finding one that would fit.
They have limited space and it had to fit just right. This was quick to identify it, good price and shipped right away. Worked great!

by:

Works great!Installed easily.

by:

Still doing roof work on truck camper, so haven't installed the "throne" yet. But thanks Roger, George and Devon for the quick ship. You guys are awsome!

by:

Easy drop in replacement. No complaints after a year!

by:

Everything I ordered was right on and in one piece. etrailer will be my go to for my RV needs

by:

Was easily and quickly installed by my RV guy- replaced older one that was leaking- be aware though that this one is not very high off the ground- lid height is about 14 inches off floor. Takes some getting used to.

by:

After a year I can say it's still holding up 100 percent! Great buy

  • Rough-In Dimensions For Each RV Toilet
    Yes, I've made a little list below of the different rough-in measurements for each toilet part number: # DOM74FR - 8.5" # DOM64FR - 8.5" # DOM24FR - 8.75" # DOM57FR - 10" # DOM37FR - 10" # DOM77FR - 10" # DOM67FR - 10" # DOM87FR - 11" # DOM27FR - 11" # DOM99FR - 11" # DOM29FR - 11" # LC67AF - 12" If you need any other measurements or have any other questions just let me know.

  • Determining What Toilet will Fit Passport Ultra Lite 195RB to get Rid of Smell Dometic 300
Hey Mike, it really just depends on what the rough-in dimension you have to determine what toilet you'd need. If you have the 10 inch dimension which is pretty standard the # TH59SE would fit and work great or if you have the smaller 8.75 inch you'd need to go with a low profile toilet like the part # DOM24FR. This dimension is center of the flange to the wall.

  • How to Know if Replacement RV Toilet Floor Flange Will Work
Replacement toilet floor flanges are universal so it will work, but you can determine the correct one based on the threading of your current flange. They will work with 3" pipes which you need to have as well. - Male Thread: Replacement RV Toilet Floor Flange - 3" MPT # T05-0782 - Female Thread: Replacement RV Toilet Floor Flange - 3" FPT # T05-0784 These will also require the Valterra RV Toilet Floor Gasket with Hold Down Bolts # Q23653VP. • Replacement Options For A 8.5" to 9" Toilet Rough-In
Dometic's 310 Series RV toilets require a 10" rough-in so you'll be limited to either the 300 series (8.5" rough-in) or 301 series (8.75" rough-in) # DOM24FR. The 300 series line has been known to have issues with smell so the best alternative at this time would be to switch to the # DOM24FR.

  • Recommended Replacement Options For A Dometic 111 RV Toilet On An 8" Tall Platform
Not every RV has a platform for the toilet so it's a bit of a case by case situation. The biggest fitment factor is the rough-in measurement, which is the distance from the wall behind to the toilet to the center of the flange bolts. Dometic recommends an 11" rough-in for the 111 model so we have the following low profile options that can fit this rough-in: Dometic 311 Part-Timer RV Toilet - Low Profile - Round Bowl - Slow Close Lid - Tan Ceramic # DOM77FR (15-1/2" Tall) Dometic 311 Part-Timer...

  • Recommended Low Profile Replacement For A Dometic 301 RV Toilet
Dometic has recalled the 301's and ensured that the other models don't follow in the same design. The replacement you're looking for is with the 310 or 311 models, of which we have two options; the # DOM24FR is made of polypropylene and the # DOM67FR which is made of ceramic. If you'd prefer the look and feel of your trailer's toilet to more closely match the toilet in your home then I recommend going with the # DOM67FR.

  • Where is Dometic RV Toilet Rough In Dimension Measured
Hey David, so the rough in measurement of the Dometic Toilet part # DOM24FR that you referenced is the measurement from the wall to the base of the toilet. • Can The Dometic Weekender RV Toilet Be Installed To A Gravity Fed Water Tank?
I took a look at the Dometic Weekender RV Toilet # DOM24FR and yes you can use a gravity fed water tank as long as the water is high enough above the water valve. It should feed sufficient water from the water valve to the vacuum breaker to get water into the bowl. This toilet has an overall height of 15-1/2", a total length of 16-1/2", a seat length of 16", and has a simple two bolt installation that fits most existing floor flanges. • Could Dometic 301 Toilet get Replaced with a Full Size 320 Series Toilet
Hey Malcolm, so the lower profile toilets like the 301 part # DOM24FR that you have have a shorter distance from the flange center to the wall requirement of 8-3/4 inches compared to the larger toilets that have this dimension at 11 inches. So as long as you have the needed extra distance there you could go with a full size toilet like the 320 part # DOM87FR. So I would go ahead and check how much space you have between the center of the mounting holes to the wall and see if you can get...
