Recommended Low Profile Replacement For A Dometic 301 RV Toilet

Question:

I have 2019 Sunday Classic that has a Dometic toilet Model 301, Mfg # 302301693, Serial # 81590993. Apparently after recent researching I found information about a two piece base that due to a design flaw causes urine to be trapped. We have been dealing with the urine odor and was always addressing black tank treatment and various flushing methods thinking that was the problem. What do you recommend as a replacement toilet? Has this design flaw in the current dometic model been corrected? We need a low profile as the toilet is on a 8.5 inch high platform. Thanks,

Dometic has recalled the 301's and ensured that the other models don't follow in the same design. The replacement you're looking for is with the 310 or 311 models, of which we have two options; the # DOM24FR is made of polypropylene and the # DOM67FR which is made of ceramic.

If you'd prefer the look and feel of your trailer's toilet to more closely match the toilet in your home then I recommend going with the # DOM67FR.
