Where is Dometic RV Toilet Rough In Dimension Measured

Question:
Is the rough in 8.75 on the Dometic 24fr concerning the base or the bowl. Our rv has 8.5 rough in at the base but about an inch up it goes to 9.5. Also I read this toilet has a urine smell problem, but they were supposedly pulled off the market. The number are the same though.

Hey David, so the rough in measurement of the Dometic Toilet part # DOM24FR that you referenced is the measurement from the wall to the base of the toilet. We haven't had any urine smell issues with this toilet so I would assume that was an older version or there were some aim issues involved...
