Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the Solera Awnbrella Support Kit for your RV awnings. Now folks, these adjustable bows will hold your RV awning fabric taut and arched to prevent damage and correct sag. So the image you can see, they can curve upward and again, they keep the awning taut and arched and that helps the water and stuff run off better. Rain's not gonna pull and tearing the fabric, and it also keeps the fabric from flapping noisily and stretching out of shape over time. Now they're removable, they snap in place on the underside of the awning and they simply tighten with these hand knobs.
So you could move those out, tighten it again, there's that shape. So there's an end view. And let's see here. So these guys will go all the way out, both sides, and you can come all the way back in. So again, there's that pointed side.
All the way out, all the way in. Again, gives you that nice shape to support the awning. So very, very nice, easy to use. You get the fasteners, all the brackets that mount up to the end of the bar. So when these are in place, they go in like that so they match up perfectly.
You got the hook loop, white and black so you can match it up to the fabric and that helps keep it stuck onto the arm so it doesn't flap as much and everything as well. Now you must remove this before ratcheting the awning back in place or retracting rather. You get two rustproof aluminum bows and the installation hardware we just went over. Everything here is made in the US and the length of the outer bow arm is 57 inches and the inner arm is 30 inches. Now the maximum recommended space in between the bows is 54 inches.
So when I say length, 57 inches, that's this whole outer piece, 57 inches. One of these inner pieces that slides out, that's the 30 inch and again, it just slides back in. Very simple operation.
