Hello everybody. This is Jeff etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Valterra RV sewer three inch lug fitting to a three inch NPT termination adapter. Now this is a sewer termination adapter which will connect your sewer pipe, to your sewer hose. On this end here, you can see it's a three inch NPT which is nail pipe thread and this will thread onto your sewer pipe. On the other end is a three inch lug fitting.
You can see the four lugs here. This will allow you to connect to a bayonet fitting on your sewer hose. Now, if you're, when you're not using your sewer hose you could put a bayonet hook style cap onto it. Now that we do sell separate on our website. That'll cover that lug fitting when it's not being connected to your sewer hose.
This part is a sturdy plastic construction overall diameter on this, outside to outside, three and a half inches. Inside three inches. Same on the other end. Outside three and a half inches, inside right at three inches. But that should do it for the review on this Valterra RV sewer three inch lug fitting for three inch NPT termination adapter..

Fitting works, but could be better if it had four "nubbies" to connect with the bayonet fingers of the receiving connector. Because the fitting has only two "nubbies," it doesn't always provide a leak-proof seal depending on the torque of other fittings.
The fitting took two weeks to receive. I needed it quickly because my standard rv sewer hoses were chewed by critters and became useless. I had to empty tanks by using a macerator. After much use, the macerator died the day before we received the fitting. We then built a PVC/ABS drain pipe to the septic using the purchased fitting.
Summary: manufacture the fitting with four "nubbies" and ship them to customers more quickly.

I have a 1972 Security Travel trailer. I bought this fitting in order to modernize the waste gate attachment. This fitting is just what I needed. It works perfectly without any issues or twerking.
I can gladly recommend this product to anyone.
What can you say, it's a specialized PVC fitting you can buy from a lot of vendors BUT, etrailer had the mid to low average price and the super cheap shipping option- I have a hard time paying more to ship an item than it cost and saved about $5 over anywhere else all said and done...anyway, the fitting itself is exactly what I needed to convert one of my septic standpipes into a dump station for our camper. Put together a couple adaptors with a 3" female fitting for it to screw into and done deal.
Works and fit as advertised
All the items were shipped and received in a timely manner. All packaging made the trip with no damage or missing item's. The rv sewer pieces were exactly what i needed, 5 star.
there are a lot of inferior components out there being sold for RV's but these Valterra hoses are not like some of the typical junk being sold. well constructed of quality materials and proven design make these hoses some of the best available and at a great price. these tote tank hoses work and will last. I do suggest these to anyone looking for a dependable product at a fair price.
