Once again etrailer exceeds expectation. Ordered Tuesday night and was at my door Saturday. Needed this extension cord just in case my 25 foot power cord wasn’t enough, will definitely do the job.

Works as it should but when I plug it into the electrical protection box I can’t close the cover because of the handle protruding so far. That allows rain to get in. Not good,
Now I cover it with a plastic bag..

I had ordered this 10-foot 50 amp RV extension cord from another source, which said it would 'ship from the manufacturer'. After no word from them for over 2 weeks, I began calling and on the 3rd call I was told that it would not ship for at least 2 more months. I then found that etrailer had them in stock and ordered one, which shipped that day! Had it in my hand in about 4 days, and it works great! Needless to say, I cancelled the order with the other vendor. Thanks to etrailer for the great service!

Works very well when I have to recharge my EV remotely. The extension cord goes into a receptacle and the charger goes into the extension cord.

I needed to get my 240v outlet closer to my garage door because my daughter charges her EV just outside the door and her charging cord wasn’t quite long enough to reach the car. This cord is easy to plug and in plug. More importantly it’s safe to plug/unplug from a live outlet.

Can 30 Amp Circuit Protection be Used on 50 Amp Circuit of RV
If you use a 30 amp surge protector on a 50 amp circuit you'd be limiting the circuit to 30 amps and there isn't a way to increase the amperage. You'd want something like the part # CAM55313. For a 50 amp extension cable that is 50 feet long the part # A10-5050E would work great. For 25 feet part # A10-5025EH, or for 10 feet # A10-5010EH.
