Video Transcript for Rubber Triangular Seal for RVs: The Breakdown

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this 15 foot long, stick on, hollow, triangular, rubber seal with the lip for RVs and enclosed trailers. I want to zoom in here and show you the design of the seal. It is a hollow, triangular, rubber seal and it's used to prevent water from leaking into the doors, compartments and hatches of your RV or enclosed trailer. It is designed to fit late 90's Fleetwood campers and many more. You can see it has the hollow seal and it is triangular design and the lip right here.

It does protect your RV from extreme weather and pest and this is constructed of an EPDM rubber so will not shrink, crack or fade over time. And it is resistant to UV and ozone exposure. You can see it as a peel and stick installation, has the pre-applied 3M adhesive backing on it. You just simply peel off the backing paper and then apply the seal to the surface. Now it does include these two alcohol prep pads for cleaning the surface before applying it.

And the design of this, it can wrap tight radius corners. Dimensions, again, on this is 15 foot long, the width of the seal, if we go this way, is going to be seven sixteenths of an inch, total height is seven sixteenths of an inch. And this part is made in the USA. But that should do it for the review on the 15 foot long, stick on, hollow, triangular, rubber seal with a lip for RVs and enclosed trailers..

Hello John. When replacing leaf springs, the important thing is to make sure the eye-to-eye length of the spring stays the same. We also want to make sure the spring has an appropriate weight rating for your axle. As long as these specs match, it is fine to go from a 3 leaf to a 4 leaf. To add stability, some people will upgrade to higher rated springs, which can be done, but we do not want to overshoot the weight rating by too much. If the spring is rated too high, it will not flex and...
