Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra RV Waste Valve. This waste valve is for your gray water drain system. It's made of a durable, black plastic construction. The valve itself is and inch and a half Bladex valve. This connection point right here is a hub connection. It's going to give us an inner diameter of about 1 and 7/8 to about 1 and 15/16 of an inch. This side right here is going to feature a male thread fitting.
You can see that there. That's going to give us an outer diameter measurement, from outside edge of the threaded area to the same point on the other side, kind of about that same measurement. About 1 and 7/8 to about 1 and 15/16 of an inch. It does come with the cap and a tether strap, so that's include. It ensures that you don't misplace that or lose it, so that's a really nice little feature of the unit. The valve is going to feature and easy to use T-handle that's gray in color.
It's going to feature all the appropriate seals to offer leak-proof performance as well. A few measurements to go over with you real quick. I just want to give you a overall measurement with the handle in the closed position. That's going to give us a measurement of about 6 and 3/4 of an inch. With it all the way extended, that's going to increase it to about 8 and 3/4 of an inch. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra RV Waste Valve..
