Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at the Prest-O-Fit Brown Two-Piece Step Rug Set for your Lippert Solid Step RV Steps. Now, this rug set is going to wrap around each of your two steps on your Lippert Solid Step RV Steps identified by that model number that you see there on your screen. And of course, those steps have the 24 1/8-inch wide steps. Now, for our demonstration purposes today, I am using the steps that are 20 1/8 inches wide just because of space limitations. So this rug set and these steps are going to be 20 1/8 inches wide, but they're going to be the same as a 24 1/8 inches wide one.

Actually, I do have one rug here from the 24 1/8 inches wide set that you are looking at here. So just to kind of give you an idea of the size comparison, but everything is going to be the same. And again, these are in brown, and this material is made of heavy-duty, UV-protected outdoor turf. So this is going to be resistant to fading, as well as to mold and mildew. And the strong bristle fibers are going to easily remove dirt and debris from your shoes.

So there's gonna be less sweeping and mopping inside of your RV or camper, which is always a good thing. Another benefit of having these installed on your steps is if it's wet, you're not gonna have to worry about potentially slipping on the bare metal steps. These rug pieces are gonna do a great job of giving you that extra traction and confidence in weather that's not so great. Now, these are gonna be very easy to clean. By the way, I do have the top step rug installed.

The bottom one, I do not have installed, so I can walk you through that installation process, but these are gonna be very easy to clean. You can just get a garden hose, spray them off, let them air dry, you'll be good to go. Another added benefit of having something like this is this carpeted design's gonna be great for your pets as it covers those hard, uninviting metal steps that could potentially scare them off. Now, let me go ahead and take this rug off. I do wanna show you the underside here.

Bring that into frame. You can get that little piece of debris off there. Now, on the underside here, we have a textured rubberized back, which is going to help keep these in place. Along with some additional methods, you're gonna have hook and loop fasteners that you can apply. And then the star of the show is gonna be the steel springs. These springs are zinc-plated, so they are going to be rust-resistant. They're going to be very durable, they're gonna hold up really well for you. And these provide just enough tension to keep each of the step rugs in place. So let me see if I can give you a brief demonstration of the installation. I wanna show you what I'm gonna be doing under each step. So what you're gonna do is you're gonna take the spring and take the hooks on either side and connect them to the holes, just like that on the step rug to bring the step rug together underneath that step. So in my opinion, and I do believe the instructions mentioned this as well, I think it's going to be easier to install these when you have the steps in the raised position. Obviously, I'm unable to do that, so I'm gonna see if I can kind of feel my way through this installation just to show you how this is going to work. So I'm gonna begin with the first set of holes here and just bring each of the hooks, connect each of the hooks on those holes. So I got that first one in. So I think each of these rugs are gonna hold up really well for you. I don't think this turf material is going to wear quickly or anything like that. I think it's gonna be a great addition to those steps. So you're not gonna have to worry about them slipping around, either. And that's what's nice is you have three ways in which they're going to be secured. Of course, you got that rubberized texture, and then the hook-and-loop fasteners, and then these springs. And then if you want, you could remove the step rugs and give them a deep cleaning if you wanna do that. And so I got that second one in. As you can see, it was a little. I had a little bit of a struggle there, but again, the way that I'm doing it here is probably not the best way to install. So got this third one almost in here, just like that. Then, I'll get this last one in kind of working from the outside in, but I don't think there's any real right or wrong way to the order. All right, so we got all those springs in, and you can see now how much better that rug fits, and it's not going to move, and that I don't even have the hook-and-loop fasteners installed. So even just with the springs and that rubberized textured back, it's holding firmly in place. So no screws, no glue, no tools needed, relatively easy installation. You are gonna get some instructions on the back of the packaging to walk you through that process. And again, this is in brown, Prest-O-Fit calls it a Buckskin Brown, but we do also provide these in black as well, and they call it Obsidian Black. And I do have an example of what that looks like here as compared to the brown. So that's gonna be the Obsidian Black.
