Today we're going to be taking a look at the Mighty Cord Dogbone Style RV Adapter Cord. This is a 15 amp male to 50 amp female. The adapter is going to measure about 12 inches long. It's for use in adapting 15 amp power for use with 50 amp RVs. The female receptacle, which is this end right here . this is the 50 amp end. It's going to have the threaded locking ring.
A lot of newer RVs are being equipped with this style of plug. You plug it in, and then you've got the threaded connector, right here. It provides a nice tight, secure connection, lock in place, really helps prevent accidental disconnecting. It really makes hooking up the RV to the campground power easy and convenient. This is a heavy-duty cable that's designed for outdoor use. It's a 3-wire design with a nice, thick, protective casing over the wires, and all the wires are going to be gauge 10 wires. This is a great product. If you want to keep your trailer plugged in to keep the batteries charged, or to run the fridge, or any small electrical load, this is a must have. You don't have to drag out the huge bulky 50A cord and run it through an adapter then another extension cord. Just a reminder, you are plugging your trailer into a single house outlet. You can't run all your big appliances with this. Use with caution. As a side, I love doing business with etrailer. Products are shipped immediately and shipping is free. Prices are at least competitive and usually better than any other, local or internet. Order to door is super fast, usually less than 3 days.

The reason I gave it a 4 star rating is the the product did not come with a straight 15A pigtail. It is a 90 degree pigtail. The product number matched though.

Of if you wanted a longer setup the part # A10-1550D90VP is 12 inches long and has a 90 degree elbow. For a straight connector we have the part # A10-1550DVP.
