Surface-mount RV lights install using pre-drilled mounting holes in the housing. These lights lay flat against the RV surface and only require a small, often pre-existing hole, for wiring. Mounting hardware (not included) is used to secure the light to the RV.

Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at a LED Security or Utility light for your RV. It's a really nice design, I have it hooked up to power, so the first thing I want to do is go ahead and show you what it looks like with power running to it.Turn off the overhead lights. You can see here, it sends out a nice bright consistent signal. Right here is our lens area, plenty of light is coming through that. That's a clear lens design, and internally, we have multiple diodes or multiple LEDs. The multi-diode design really helps optimize the overall light output.
This is a LED system, and the LEDs make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, they burn brighter and they're more efficient. With LEDs, you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs, and you don't have to worry about brittle filaments.Now again, this unit features a really nice clear lens with white LEDs and a nice white base, it gives it a very clean look. It's a surface mount installation, so it mounts directly on the surface of your RV. You have mount holes right here, and then the other two mount holes are hidden behind the lens area.
The lens is just clipped into place, so you can easily remove that and gain access to those mount holes for your installation. Mounting hardware not included.It is a two-wire design, black wire is our power wire, white wire is the ground wire. When it comes to the dimensions of the unit, measuring edge to edge going this direction, we get a measurement of 8 inches. Edge to edge going this direction, we get a measurement of about 9 and 1/8th inches. I did take the measurements of the mount hole separation, and so the distance we have between these two mount holes center on center is about 5 and 5/8th inches.
Between these holes, center on center, it's 5 inches. Then going this direction, just straight up and down, center on center, we get a measurement of about 5 and 1/8th inches.That's going to do it for today's look at the LED Security or Utility light for your RV.

Surface mount - hardware not included. 2-Wire pigtail.At 1st I was leary of the size of this, but in the end it worked out fine. It covered, after caulking, the old holes without trouble; new holes were needed anyway. This light is brighter and better focused to the ground than the incandescent previous light. Easy installation as well; only drawback, it doesn't come with screws (or wire nuts), for $XX+ I would think they would be included. It didn't stop my installation since I had some extra from another project, the old screws were rusted badly.
No hardware came with light fixture. Extremely disappointed.

I checked and this light does not have hardware that comes with it. Our description will be updated to reflect this.
This light is well made and attractive. Great illumination.
The products and service at E Trailer are top notch.
Tammie is my "Go To" person.
I have a cougar fifth wheel I need it a new outside light that was outside the bedroom window it the light is good I thought it should come with a rubber seal seeing as how it was outside there was no gasket of any kind so I did the outside edge with clear silicone hopefully I won't get any leaks
I am sorry etrailer, these lights are terrible. Quality is very poor and I will be surprise if they last a year. Light output is not great. These lights should sell for xx not xx. You are known for your great service and delivery, this product takes away from that. Do your self a favour and stop selling these lights, it tarnishes your reputation. I am not satisfied with these lights and they are not worth me spending more money to send them back so I will put them is a garage sale and sell them for $x.
This light I used to replace the original light fixture on the outside of my camper..The Led lights are brighter than the original..and doesn't for raw nearly as much power.I am very satisfied with E- Trailer with a speedy shipment of my order.Thank you very much I will make all my trailer needs
I replaced about 8 similar units to save energy. My trailer is off grid. They work great and were easy to install.
