I purchased this Motion Detector light to mount behind the door of the control panel in our 5th wheel (Panel that contains light switched, tank level indicators, slide switches, etc). When entering the 5th wheel after dark, opening the control panel door to turn on the interior lights, I could not see the switches. The motion detector light was exactly what I needed to remedy this issue. Thanks etrailer!
i like the size - it's small but very bright - i also like that the cover is removeable so you can spray paint the cover to match your RV without getting paint on the light and sensor - you should buy electronics from etrailer because they replace electronics if they are defective and there are many things that can cause an issue so you should buy your electronics from people who will back up the product like etrailer -
Works as advertised, just bright enough to see where you’re going, reasonable time out period and so far it’s survived two prolonged downpours.
Working great. I placed it so when I enter the trailer I have a light on. I also have it on a switch so I can turn it off.
Started randomly flickering.
I was hoping that the light would shine down rather than straight out from the light. I was going to mount it above all my controls and switches but after connecting the light and temporarily placing it on the wall it shines out straight way too much for what I was attempting to achieve.
This light would have been perfect if most or all the light went straight down!
The first one I purchased had a problem and all it took was a phone call to there customer service and they sent a replacement right out.
Perfect replacement for the night light in our camper bathroom. I like the motion detection.
Our RV came with a dim entrance stairwell light that was either on or off. We ordered a more expensive one with motion detection elsewhere, but it was way too bright and itcame on even in day light.
This light is perfect ! And a breeze to install.

I bought this to replace one that was malfunctioning. The original was randomly turning on and off all day and night. I installed this one and now it only come on when there is motion near the light.
Light works perfectly! It was an exact match to my step light in my 2020 Jayco North Point 377RLBH
The light works fine. Anticipated the black shroud coming with the light as pictured.
It is an exact duplicate of the one I am replacing.

The only problem I have is there is no outer cover that is shown. Thankfully I am able to use my old cover, would not be able to use if I was not replacing a light or if light was broken

Hmm...have you already checked the grounding wire? You'd want to make sure you have a direct, clean, and secure connection. If its come loose over time you'd want to resecure it and that might be all you need to do to fix the flickering. Let me know what happens!
