Today we are going to show you Optronics RV oval porch and utility light with switch, part number RVPL7A. Both the lens and the bulb on this light are replaceable. It is designed to surface mount against your trailer and uses a two wire design, a white wire for ground and a black wire for power. On the bottom of the light is a toggle switch to turn the light on and off. Next we will hook up the light to a power supply so you can see how it looks. We will connect our white wire to ground and our black wire to power. Next we will turn off the overhead lights to show you how bright the light is. And that does it for Optronics RV oval porch and utility light with switch, part number RVPL7A.

Bought these to replace some cracked stair lights on a travel trailer. They're direct replacements to the one's I have and I even reused the pigtail so no rewiring was needed. They appear to be as bright or brighter than the original but with energy saving LEDs.
The only possible con is that the outer housing didn't seem to snap on as firmly as most light housings do. It doesn't seem loose so hopefully it's not a problem down the road.

This trailer light is exactly like the one that was on the trailer originally. I searched all over town to find it, but no luck. When I ordered it online it came right away and was a breeze to install.
Looks well made. Needed a porch light on my camper so I don't have the bright LED canopy lights on all of the time. This will work great.
This is the exact same product that was on my camper. Installation was fairly easy and light works great. The description when I ordered said it does not have a switch but it does as you can tell by the picture.
Worked out perfect for me. Easy to install. Just need some silicone. Wish is was LED though.. that's why I gave it 4 stars
