  • What Type of Bulb Does RV Rectangular Porch and Utility Light # RVPL3C Use
The trailer utility light part # RVPL3C does use a 1141 bulb like you asked about and for an LED you could use the part # DI85VR.

  • Replacement for Porch Light on Haulmark Trailer
I'm not sure which brand light you have there, or the dimensions, but it looks a lot like the Diamond # DG52728VP. This light measures 6" long x 3-1/2" tall x 2" deep. It uses the replacement lens # VAL97CR. We also have the Optronics # RVPL3C with the same dimensions. If it is not one of these brands I can't confirm if the lens will fit or not. Assuming the size of the light matches, you could use either one for a total replacement.

  • Dimensions of Replacement Lens for Bargman Series 78 Porch/Utility Light
The Bargman Replacement Lens for Bargman Porch Or Utility Light # 30-78-021 measures 5-1/4 inches long x slightly over 2-1/4 or 2-5/16 inches wide. I have attached a photo showing these measurements. Without knowing the manufacturer of the utility light, the best solution I can provide is a new light assembly. I have attached a link with all of our rectangular, white, trailer utility lights for you. Our most popular utility light is the Optronics RV Rectangular Porch and Utility Light...

  • Replacement LED Porch Light & LED Bulbs for Use in 2015 Thor Ace Motorhome
I researched photos of your 2015 Thor Ace motorhome to see the shape of the exterior porch light and it appears to be a crescent-shaped light that directs most output downward to the entry step area. All of our available LED-type porch and exterior light assemblies can be viewed on the link provided. None is an exact match for your OEM light but the Optronics RV Porch/Utility Light # RVPL3C is the most similar. I know you mentioned you do not want to simply replace the bulb with an LED...

  • Recommended Small Light Assembly for Exterior Use on RV
The Optronics RV Courtesy Light # 2407764B referenced in your question is intended for interior use because it does not have a waterproof construction. This particular courtesy light is not available in an exterior model, but I may have a solution for you. I recommend looking at similar sized lights, such as the Optronics Porch and Utility Light with Switch # RVPL3C. This assembly measures 6 inches long, 3-1/2 inches side, and 2 inches deep. It provides an all-weather construction that...

  • Choosing a Trailer Porch Light That is Weather Resistant
The Bargman Porch/Utility Light # 3478503 that you referenced is not actually specified as being weather-resistant, but the Optronics # RVPL3C does offer similar construction that provides all-weather protection against corrosion, making it suitable as an exterior light. Both lights use the same mounting arrangement and so they are fully compatible.

  • LED Porch Light Recommendations
I believe I have exactly what you are looking for. For the LED Amber porch light without a switch you would want the RV Rectangular Porch and Utility Light - Clear # RVPL3C and then for with a switch you would want the Bargman Porch / Utility Light with Switch # 3478518.

  • Recommended Interior Lights for Utility Van
I do have a solution for you for interior lights for your utility van but the Optronics # MC42RB Double Bullseye Trailer Clearance Light does not have a clear lens available. What I do suggest is their Rectangular Porch and Utility Light with Switch # RVPL3C or the version without the switch, part # RVPL1C. Both offer a surface-mount housing like the MC42RB. If you prefer high-efficiency LED lights for reduced power consumption and heat then you might consider the Optronics Opti-Brite...

  • Do Amber RV Porch Lights Draw Less Bugs
Amber lights do tend to draw significantly less bugs as some can't "sense" that color and aren't drawn to it. Not all of them though so there will still be some bugs.

  • Can the RV Porch and Utility Light be Used on a Camper Shell for Side Illumination for Sled Dogs
The RV Porch and Utility Light, # RVPL3C, would definitely be able to handle normal highway speeds, if mounted correctly, but a car wash might be a different story. These lights were designed for RVs and they are not normally ran through car washes. If the car wash were a touch-less model then you should be fine, but a car wash with the mops that twirl would most likely cause an issue with the lights protruding from the side of the shell. Another option may be to install a flush mounted...
