It is a key after all. I had lost mine, found a YouTube video that shows how to remove the lock core from the rack. Removed the lock, ordered the key that coincided with the lock core. All works great. Key works and looks like the original that came with the rack. Shipping was fast and I got an email that allowed me to track it.3537532
